Our server Victoria was amazing and very friendly and knowledgeable. The manager Mark came by and checked on us and he was very sweet and kind.

“We lost power and had to go out for dinner. So we went to Sam's Place. We had the Polish Sampler plates and an extra side of pirogi. The meal was delicious and the fried sauerkraut was interesting. The tomato sauce on the cabbage roll was bland but the roll was tasty. But the tomato sauce tasted good with the fried sauerkraut. The cheese pirogi was the tastiest in my opinion but my wife like the potato ones. \n The desserts were mediocre. My wife tried the recommended chocolate mousse. It was mostly chocolate pudding. I had the Pumpkin pie and it was as good as the Sara Lee pumpkin pie. Unless you really want dessert, I suggest you skip it.“

“We missed the boat with our local catering choices, so I decided to give Benzina's Bistro a shot for our recent party needs. They nailed it! Chicken was juicy, breadsticks were great and the wedges were a hit as well. Highly recommend using them for your next party.“

Mike and Danny are the best hosts around; they know you by name and make everyone feel like a regular. Johnny’s Famous Angus Burger and the prime rib French dip are our go-to’s, and the fish and chips are excellent. Prices are more than reasonable for lakefront dining. Great sports bar inside, and the deck at sunset is unbeatable — you can even pull your boat right up to the dock. Consistently great food, fair prices, and outstanding service.
