“Stopped into the Applebee’s in Belleville and had an outstanding experience thanks to John Z. behind the bar. From the moment I sat down, he was friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. He kept drinks flowing, made great recommendations, and made sure everything was perfect throughout my visit.

What really stood out was John’s professionalism and positive attitude. Even while handling multiple guests, he stayed engaged, efficient, and made everyone feel like a priority. It’s clear he takes pride in providing excellent service and creating a great atmosphere.

“Just found this place recently thru an online Gluten free blogger. I am medically Gluten intolerant. There aren't many places around me that I trust for 1)my health and safety,and 2) fantastic food! Hidalgo's staff put me at ease with their knowledge about minimizing cross contamination. Everything I've tried there has been excellent. Took non GF people there too and everyone left happy!! “I just have to put it out there again, that Red Rooster is one of my favorite places, to get a good meal from. They have a variety of foods besides pizza and all are good. I do mostly delivery and are always on time. Love me some Red Rooster. I order from them probably at least once a week.“

“Stopped here to celebrate my friend's birthday. We asked for recommendations she said the fish and chips and the hamburgers are popular. So we went with the hamburgers we were not disappointed. I have to say the hamburgers are the best I have had in a while. It comes with fries or coleslaw. But we both upgraded to sweet potato fries and onion rings. Both were delicious. Both come with sauces to dip. I also got a side salad that was fresh. They did forget to put lettuce, pickle and tomato on my hamburger. The waitress brought it to me when I informed her. For my friend she made sure to tell the waitress she did not want bacon but still got it on her hamburger. Not sure if that is the waitress or cooks fault. My friend requested grilled onions on her hamburger. She really enjoyed that. So just check your hamburger to make sure it comes as ordered. For her birthday she got a choice between three desserts. She chose the carrot cake. She let me have a taste. It was so good. We sat outside on the porch which is covered. If you come when it is sunny in the summer bring your hat, sunglasses and sunscreen. You can eat inside with air conditioning or there is a deck where the boats dock with umbrella tables. So relaxing to look out at the water with boats going back and forth. Just to let you know you have to use stairs to get to the outside levels. Their deck ramp had a fire and had to be taken down. They will not rebuild it for a couple of years. So if you are handicap you will have to eat inside. Which there are windows there to look at Belleville Lake. Ask your waitress about the history of the lake. Interesting story. Will come again.“

“Overall food is good, with the exception of the cheese fries. Cheese fries are just fries with some slices of American melted on top, not worth the extra money and difficult to pull apart. Service was good, waitress was attentive and polite.“

“Vedi nyss , I visited here for a meal years ago it was delicious, being in town this time I went for another go. I had Tabbouli one of my favorite opening Mediterranean dishes. The Herbs was as chopped as kale, the fish was flaky going with the texture of the greens. Hearty I vacuumed it !! Service was questionable and I glinted to some scuffs during my approach. could be just as warm to strangers as it is good for regulars. It's no room for coldness as that in a restaurant. Bad for business“

“Pleased to say that the food is exactly how I remember it! Everything is vegetarian, some of it is vegan, and much of it is gluten free. As an omnivore, this is a place where you will not miss the meat. The food is delightfully spiced, absolutely packed with flavor, and with plentiful options. I’ve been to many spots but there really isn’t any quite like Earthen Jar.

I also love the buffet and pay-by-weight system, you can really get tons of food. And it reheats very well too! I can’t wait to come back and get more opportunities to eat here since this location is quite approachable. If you’re on the fence, I’d say give them a shot!“

The chirashi poke bowl is very well balanced in the sweet and savory, the rice is perfectly made and the sauce is present without drowning out the flavor of the fish.
