“My Husband and I accidentally came across this gem of a Burger 🍔 place. So happy we did!!! I’ve always said if you don’t need two napkins for your burger, it’s not worth it… I needed four! My brioche bun was toasted perfectly and the seasoning and juiciness of the burger was perfection. And you MUST not forget the seasoned fries - out of this world!!! Frank, you are incredible!!! “Lan City is a simple place with great food. The interior isn’t anything particularly special, but it isn’t bad and gets the job done. The menu is dense with lots of good options, especially their noodle specialties. I was served quickly, and I got the laksa noodles with a side of the scallion pancake. I didn’t realize how big the portions are. Everything was large, and I had to take the pancakes home. The laksa was rich with lots of seafood, and the noodles were delicious and toothsome. Like the name of the place suggests, the noodles are really the star of the show. I’d definitely recommend eating here if you enjoy Asian noodle dishes, and I hope to visit again.“

“As someone who’s Hispanic and grew up in California, I’ve had a lot of authentic Mexican food over the years. After living in Ohio for the past five years, it’s been hard to find something that truly compares — until I tried Miny’s in Michigan.

The quality for the price is unbeatable. The flavors are bold, authentic, and clearly made with care. The textures are spot on, from the tortillas to the fillings, and everything tastes fresh.

The carne asada tacos are more than worth the price, and the guacamole is fresh — easily better than Chipotle. These are hands down the best tacos I’ve had since living in the Midwest, and they genuinely reminded me of the spots back home in California.

If you care about real Mexican food and not just “Mexican-inspired,” this place is absolutely worth the trip. I’ll definitely be back.

Try the combo platter to get the full picture of this excellent place. Everything is enhanced by interesting sauces and relishes. We are so lucky to have you in downtown Ypsi!“

“Would love to give this place 5 stars because it is a cool, local, historical spot, and the food is usually always good! However, I've noticed since we've been coming here for the last year that the service is hit or miss - either great and attentive or the waitor doesn't clear the table/ not fully attentive - and it could be cleaner in some areas.

BUT! I would say it's mostly always worth the visit! They do have outdoor seating for the warm months, and during the winter they have a beautiful, cozy fireplace (darling on a snowy day dining with family/friends).

Be warned when eating here that the train comes through, and it can be loud. Precisely why it's called Sidetrack Bar and Grill! Some people may not like that, but many enjoy as it reminds those of the history of the location.

Fish tacos, the Shepard Pie, and so many of their sandwiches are delicious! Great tap beers and other cocktails (and mocktails) available!“

“I LOVE this place. As a public servant, I often eat here as it is right down the road from Joe's. They are ALWAYS friendly, ALWAYS accommodate if I want to try something unusual (although I usually order the chicken Schwarma extra sauce....can't go wrong!!) and once a couple years back I had paid for my food and got called out for an emergency & someone came running out to the parking lot and vaulted my Schwarma through my ambulance window. Highly recommend for the food and the service. The bento box is more than enough for a single person but we enjoyed the dumplings and sushi rolls as well.“

After a week process of phone calls and finally going in person, I was able to get my proper refund. Food was delicious and the owner was apologetic. Will be back for another try.“

“Great experience today!! We went in this evening around 6pm. We were seated really quickly, food came out quickly as well. Our server Savannah was doing great tonight. The GM Drew was providing excellent management as evidenced by observing Savannah and the other servers bustling around and providing great experiences for the guests. Some of my family members had burgers and chicken, I had a veggie burger. One family member really enjoyed the presentation of those cinnamon donut things. I got the small size; which is a huge portion, and added chicken. It comes with pita bread. It has all the vegetables you can imagine. I had to take more than half home.“

I went back today to make sure it wasn’t a fluke and nope I was right. This place has the BEST onion rings. “My children, 11 and 7 and myself stopped in for dinner. My husband was in the hospital. The kids and I needed real food.
The place was decorated for Christmas already. Super cute.
Literally no wait for a table. The hostess asked if we wanted a booth or a table. Which was nice, not a normal question I’ve been asked before.
Our server, Kharmein, was an absolute delight. I will come back just for her.!!! I even told her that.

“When it comes to authenticity, this restaurant has it. Its cozy and intimate and the aroma what wafts from the kitchen is heavenly. Not too much...just enough to make you want whatever it is they are cooking. The lady behind the counter was a sweetheart even though you can tell there was a slight language barrier. “Stopped in on a Friday night. It was busy but there was plenty of seating both indoors and outdoors.

You either order from the bar, or they had QR codes to order from your table. After submitting a order from the table, one of the staff brought our beers within a couple of minutes.

They don't do flights, but do offer taster size beers if you want to create your own version of a flight. Rainbow IPA and Space Witch were very good.

Kitchen took about an hour to get us our food, so if it's busy and you're in a hurry, don't expect your food to arrive quickly. The burger I had was good however.
