“My Husband and I accidentally came across this gem of a Burger 🍔 place. So happy we did!!! I’ve always said if you don’t need two napkins for your burger, it’s not worth it… I needed four! My brioche bun was toasted perfectly and the seasoning and juiciness of the burger was perfection. And you MUST not forget the seasoned fries - out of this world!!! Frank, you are incredible!!! “Pleased to say that the food is exactly how I remember it! Everything is vegetarian, some of it is vegan, and much of it is gluten free. As an omnivore, this is a place where you will not miss the meat. The food is delightfully spiced, absolutely packed with flavor, and with plentiful options. I’ve been to many spots but there really isn’t any quite like Earthen Jar.

I also love the buffet and pay-by-weight system, you can really get tons of food. And it reheats very well too! I can’t wait to come back and get more opportunities to eat here since this location is quite approachable. If you’re on the fence, I’d say give them a shot!“

“Genuinely THE noodle place of Washtenaw County. The staff is always welcoming. I've been coming here for years now and I've never had a bad dish. The food is all fresh and hand made. I wouldn't be shocked if they butchered the cow themselves. But the takeout game is where they excel. You get your noodles separately from the broth so they don't get soggy. That little difference is why I always recommend Lan City to anyone living or visiting Ypsi.“

“As someone who’s Hispanic and grew up in California, I’ve had a lot of authentic Mexican food over the years. After living in Ohio for the past five years, it’s been hard to find something that truly compares — until I tried Miny’s in Michigan.

The quality for the price is unbeatable. The flavors are bold, authentic, and clearly made with care. The textures are spot on, from the tortillas to the fillings, and everything tastes fresh.

The carne asada tacos are more than worth the price, and the guacamole is fresh — easily better than Chipotle. These are hands down the best tacos I’ve had since living in the Midwest, and they genuinely reminded me of the spots back home in California.

If you care about real Mexican food and not just “Mexican-inspired,” this place is absolutely worth the trip. I’ll definitely be back.

“Everything is fresh and made to order. The offerings are unusual--and delicious! The tortillas are pillowy light and not greasy. Try the combo platter to get the full picture of this excellent place. Everything is enhanced by interesting sauces and relishes. We are so lucky to have you in downtown Ypsi!“

“Was in town for a wedding and popped in for lunch. Great service! Our waiter helped us choose drinks and food. We got the chili, boneless chicken wings, and harvest mini turkey burgers. “I LOVE this place. As a public servant, I often eat here as it is right down the road from Joe's. They are ALWAYS friendly, ALWAYS accommodate if I want to try something unusual (although I usually order the chicken Schwarma extra sauce....can't go wrong!!) and once a couple years back I had paid for my food and got called out for an emergency & someone came running out to the parking lot and vaulted my Schwarma through my ambulance window. “We come to Aki Sushi about once a week, and it’s always a great experience. My sister and I love their shrimp fried rice and chicken fried rice both are flavorful and cooked just right. It’s hard to find really good fried rice in this area, so when we found this place, we stopped looking anywhere else.
We also usually order some tuna rolls or golden California rolls, along with a seaweed salad, which is always fresh and delicious. Everything we’ve tried has been consistently good.
The staff is friendly and welcoming, and we always feel comfortable when we come in. It’s become one of our favorite spots, and we’ll definitely keep coming back!“

I had the mushroom/feta omelette (came with wheat toast AND it was packaged so nicely it was still REAL toast when I got home 😍) and blueberry pancakes! 10/10 Added a slice of strawberry cheesecake from their dessert case (I’m easily convinced 😅) 10/10! “Stopped in for lunch yesterday was craving some good pizza. They had an excellent lunch buffet 12.99 all you can eat. The best pizza was the fungi pizza and the chicken bacon ranch pizza. They also had a full salad bar. The pizza was very tasty the salad was fresh. The bar tender was friendly and helpful. The pizza was excellent. Definitely give this place a try.“

After a week process of phone calls and finally going in person, I was able to get my proper refund. Food was delicious and the owner was apologetic. Will be back for another try.“

“Great experience today!! We went in this evening around 6pm. We were seated really quickly, food came out quickly as well. Our server Savannah was doing great tonight. The GM Drew was providing excellent management as evidenced by observing Savannah and the other servers bustling around and providing great experiences for the guests. Some of my family members had burgers and chicken, I had a veggie burger. One family member really enjoyed the presentation of those cinnamon donut things. I went back today to make sure it wasn’t a fluke and nope I was right. This place has the BEST onion rings. It's a taqueria, in terms of the atmosphere, which to me is highly appealing. Takeout seems to be a large part of the business and a popular option.

Taquerias need to get one thing right and that is the taco, and La Marqueza absolutely delivers. I don't agree with the other review that says that the steak tacos were dry. All of the tacos were perfectly hydrated and not greasy at all. Tasted fresh and delicious.

Will definitely be coming back frequently“

“Stopped in on a Friday night. It was busy but there was plenty of seating both indoors and outdoors.

You either order from the bar, or they had QR codes to order from your table. After submitting a order from the table, one of the staff brought our beers within a couple of minutes.

They don't do flights, but do offer taster size beers if you want to create your own version of a flight. Rainbow IPA and Space Witch were very good.

Kitchen took about an hour to get us our food, so if it's busy and you're in a hurry, don't expect your food to arrive quickly. The burger I had was good however.

“First time ordering i ordered rib tips and I picked up so don't know how fast delivery is but called and order was ready when I arrived was told 15 minutes and arrived about 15 minutes to maybe 17 and the rib tips were ready for purchase that are delicious although some were kinda tough witch is typical of tips but some were dry to to texture over all the tips I ordered were absolutely great despite a few that were kinda dry highly recommended this place cant wait to or8and try there other menu items“

“Great Wall never misses. The food is always fresh, they actually get the modifications right (which is rare), and they’re consistently fast.

I love their Singapore noodles with curry and chicken; so flavorful, perfectly seasoned, and just hits every time. Definitely one of my go-to spots when I want something reliable and delicious.“
