I always love coming to The Golden Egg. The employees are warm, welcoming, and personable. I can tell they genuinely care about every guest. Recently I came with a friend and sat at the bar for the first time. We were long cashed out but still checked on very frequently by our server, other servers, and one of the cooks as we were sitting at the bar. The food is hot and delicious!
Great classic diner. Can only speak to the breakfast. Quick and polite service even though it was packed. Love being able to see the short order cooks work the griddle. Very reasonable prices, great prices if you're early in the day as breakfast items are on special. Delicious grits, wish more places had this as an option.

This is the quintessential American diner, and the food was fantastic. I got the country skillet and my friend got the veggie skillet and both knocked our socks off with how good they tasted. Not to mention the good value for the price !
