“Been following for a long time and finally got to go last night. Service was a little on the struggle bus, but they were very friendly and tried hard. The beet salad was a little uneventful, so we were slightly worried this was going to be a disappointing evening. And then the entrees finally came out. My wife is a vegan and she knew going into it the menu would be limited for her (she knew I wanted it) so the only thing she could get was the pasta dish, and we both have decided it was the best pasta dish we had ever tasted. She cleaned her plate. I had the fried catfish with black beans, and it was literally amazing. Like, I’m going to dream about it. We live almost an hour and a half away, and it was worth the drive.”

“Fresh hot delicious food. We just moved to the area and are looking for local fried chicken places. Ordered the fried chicken sandwich deluxe meal. Also have had 8 piece meal shack pack previously. Always comes out crispy and piping hot, however stays juicy, not dry at all. Their portions are also generous. Staff are very friendly, patient, and quick. Area very clean. There is enough for seating for 8 people only at a bar style seating, otherwise no other sit down table available. Ample parking. Will definitely come back! They also have catering available, I grabbed a menu for when we host parties in the future. Will update review once we try the catering as well.”

“Historic building, formerly the Woodruffs Grove restaurant. Nice atmosphere and live music (we played jazz standards). Easy load in for musicians. Say Hi to Ted the brewmaster, he's a local institution ❤”

“I ordered a Calzone with Beef Sausage, Mushrooms and extra cheese. It was simply AMAZING!I am so happy they don't use any Pork products. I can have pizza, calzones and more now!Thanks you so much.”

“My wife and I shared one of the combo BBQ plates (Spicy Sweet I think). The beef galbi and bulgogi meats were marinated so well! Service was also good. I would definiltey go back.”

“We've been there a few times for lunch and brunch, so we were excited to book my daughter's engagement party there. They did not disappoint. The food, the service, and the space were all top notch.”

“Great wings! Delicious Hot chicken sandwich would've been a 5 if had more pickles on the sandwich. Nothing tasted frozen. Side of fries easily shareable for two. Wish there was a fountain drink option. Will definitely be back!”

“A nice, cozy place tucked away on a busy road. Sushi Dabu is a hidden gem with amazing food and fair prices. There’s a good selection of sushi, ramen, and various Korean and Chinese dishes. I would highly recommend coming here for your sushi needs.”

“Decor is lovely, very cozy. My boyfriend and I came here for impromptu date night. I didn’t take any pictures for once, BUT everything we tried was delicious. I had bruschetta. He had Cesar salad with chicken. We split a peach pot pie and tiramisu. So luxurious! Must try in Ypsi!”

“This honestly would have been a 5 star review had it not been for the GM Chuck. This was clearly a day where the restaurant was displaying, what many restaurants are facing these days, a shortage in staff. There was literally 1 waiter, 1 seater, and the chef. The waiter was tripling for bartender, waiter, and runner , however, John couldn't have been more exceptional. He apologized for the wait, made some amazing drinks (i got the blueberry lavender lemonade and added tequila ) and brought out some AMAZING FOOD. i got the Brussels and the spicy bowl (hold the swine no ), and ooohhhwer was it good. The assistant manager Theo, was very understanding of our complaints because we really wanted to talk to Chuck personally to express our distaste for his rude behavior, condescending attitude, and just overall piss poor demeanor. Chuck, in my opinion, shouldn't be working in hospitality because he doesn't, have a heart for people. To watch his staff suffering but still making the best, while he acted as if he didn't want to be bothered, is extremely unacceptable. I would say, secondly come here, except when Chuck is here.”

“We ordered delivery from here last night and were pleasantly surprised. First, the food got here sooner than expected. Second, great customer service. Third, the menu offers a wide variety of options that cater to vegans, vegetarians, and omnivores alike. Not to mention, the food was great. We noticed there are currently no vegan meat options, so hopefully that is something the restaurant is willing to consider in the future. But regardless, the vegan cheese sticks, vegan zone, and spinner zone with mac and cheese were a hit! We will be ordering from here again.”

“I've been here several times since they opened this location. The pizza is pretty good, and there's a decent variety of other options on the menu. The menu was recently updated, so I haven't had the chance to try much of the new offerings.Service is always great, atmosphere is pretty good, though the bar area can be overwhelmingly noisy, really wish there was more separation between the dining area and bar, or some kind of acoustic panels to help deaden the noise.Regardless, the food is good, reasonably priced, prompt and friendly service. There's a reason we keep coming back!”
