“We came here not sure of what it was going to be like. The owners were very hospitable and very friendly. We ordered the torta de al pastor and de alambre and it was very tender and flavorful. Todo está muy rico. Great view from the truck as well.“
“The Tap Room is a historic bar in Downtown Ypsilanti. The service is fantastic. Particularly Tawny and Justin, they are amazing!The food is perfect bar food. The whiskey and beer selection are on point.You can shoot pool or just kick back and chill.It’s the perfect neighborhood bar.“
“I ordered the Birria Taco dinner with rice and beans. I guess I was expecting the viral version of birria tacos with the fried tortillas in the beef juice and queso. What I received was shredded beef on steamed tortillas and onions and cilantro. With a side of spicy salsa and guacamole. Nonetheless, the tacos were tasty. Just not what I was expecting. The beans and rice, however were nothing special. I love rice and beans, but these were bland.“
“Great food at a fair price. Service was kind and polite. The hot salsa for your taco was perfect. Just hot enough that you get plenty of heat while keeping all the flavor. The barbacoa was tender and juicy. The rice seemed like it was just prepared. Would definitely stop by again.“
“The best Mexican food I've had since covid started. Bit into a chorizo taco and almost cried. Better than taco king, Chelas, bei rock and almost any other spot I've been to in a while. Beans 10/10 rice 10/10 everything is just too good.“
“If you know this area, this restaurant is in the former Pizza Hut location. They did the best they could with this building. :) I was not expecting much but the Burrito Tapatio was delicious (no rice and bean side like other things but I think that's because they are inside the burrito). The jalapeno marg wasn't bad - no spice and very light. The Texas Marg fit more my taste - well balanced (not watered down like) and flavorful without being too heavy on the lime. Lastly, the guac was fresh and good.Kid-friendliness: Although Mexican, nice kids menu choices.“

Tender, moist, flavorful and finally not over salted!I would love it if they could make a margarita without the sour mix crap. I would love a good reposado with fresh lime juice, a touch of agave and a few jalapeno slices shaken and poured.Earlier review:People here are awesome. (Thus 2 stars...staff is 5 star!) Portions huge, huge menu, but sadly food itself is not so great. Come for patio and drinks, how bad can you screw up a drink, right? Tamales are thick as a brick and heavy, like cooked glue. Taco....go to Maize...fresh is key in a taco...when it tastes like a cooked sock, well, it tastes like a cooked sock. I used to love this place, but lately it is just, "meh" for the food. Maybe it is just lunch that is bad? I have in the past come during dinner, ? Again, staff is phenomenal and the portions are huge. If gringo Mexican is your thing, you may love it. Even in the poorest towns in Mexico you can find wonderful fresh food. Not here...not anymore. Waitress took order off bill, but can't remove the taste from my mouth. Come for drinks, staff and service...come if gringo suits you, otherwise there are better places for food.Respectfully.“
“Great and cheap prices! Miny’s is takeout only but you’ll get your order within 15 mins of calling ahead. I highly suggest the spicy chicken (tinga), it is a bit spicy though so no need to add salsa if spice is not your thing. The Al pastor (pork) tacos, gordita or torta is also amazing.The employees are super nice & make the process really smooth. They also have Mexican drinks for sale (Jarritos, Mexican coke, mansanita like & Fanta) & tres leeches cake, but I haven’t tried it yet.I’ve gotten Minys many times and it’s amazing every time, I highly recommend!“
“Food is very good. No change in the quality of food. They have 2 different trucks. One is red colored. The other one is black colored, and older. I have had only positive experiences with the red truck when it is open (it does have an issue with unpredictable open hours/locations, but I can live with that for a food truck).I had a negative experience with the other, black colored truck at wide world of sports. I waited for like 20 minutes, despite being the first in line (behind someone picking up a called in order). The man charging the guy picking up couldn't get the credit card machine to work, which added to the delay. I left.:( Food: 5/5 (hence the strong review); Ease of placing an order in a reasonable amount of time for a food truck: 2-5/5, depending; Ease of locating the truck(s) on any given day: 2/5 (their facebook page sometimes has updates).“
“Delicious hot food. Generously portioned tacos and large, tasty burrito! I called and ordered for pickup but it's basically the same prices for takeout via Yelp (no upcharge) so I would do that next time. I don't think it has the "ambiance" to eat there but phenomenal food!“

High quality ingredients and flexible menu.Id give it 5 stars but sometimes I wish my burrito could be warmer and it came with a little more protein. I get the extra protein option for 2 bucks and I still feel like there could be just a bit more.That being said I will still eat the heck outta these burritos all the time.“
“This is a staple restaurant for us in the area! We have been coming here for 7 years. The food is always delicious and the service has always been fast and friendly. I am a vegetarian and my husband eats meat, our son is a pescatarian. There are options for all of us, we seriously eat here at least 3 times a month! I love their verde sauce and always order extra to enjoy the next day. Today I got a vegetarian wet burrito. IT WAS SO GOOD!! And look how beautiful it looks! I had to share. I can't recommend this place enough. Best in the area.“
“I can't believe I waited as long as I did to try Dod Fuentes - so much lost time, so many amazing meals missed. ? The menu has so many tasty options, it will take a while to try them all. The staff were very friendly and very attentive. Lunch prices were very reasonable, and pricing overall seemed more than fair. Can't wait to bring my family there for lunch or dinner. Even my super picky eater will be happy with the chicken tenders on the kid's menu!“

“so bloody good. had the honduran breakfast here. not sure what they put in their beans but i could eat it by the ladle-ful. the plantains too. perfection. such a good breakfast plate, with good portions - did not have to take any leftovers with me and was full by the end of the meal.“
