“We were in a hurry when we stopped here.
Had been here before in the evening on several occasions and service was terrible. They have even given us the wrong food, or missed giving us certain items that we ordered.
The staff has been rude or just dancing with the worst social skills I've ever seen in this type of setting.
On this day we stop for a quick lunch and gave them another try.
The service was way better! Even though the staff still seemed a bit aloof... The young man at the counter was inviting, pleasant, and fairly professional when it came to serving the public.
They took our order right away. It took a while to get our food, but when we got it, it was correct with nothing missing.
Maybe the day shift is just a better team, but I can't come back here in the evenings or use the drive thru.“

“I normally don’t write reviews, but after just spending money on a take out order that they didn’t include the chips I ordered then said that I didn’t order them, which I did because I ordered a large mild salsa. Why would I do that? so the manager , Sam, told me I could come back to the restaurant, but he would have to charge me for the chips that they made a mistake on. And even worse was, I had to wait for them to make my tostada, and when I got it home, the cheese was not even melted. It was just placed on top of the beef with no tomato or lettuce and the cheese on the burritos was cold and like rubber. I Will not go back there. The food and service was terrible.“

“Just found this place recently thru an online Gluten free blogger. I am medically Gluten intolerant. There aren't many places around me that I trust for 1)my health and safety,and 2) fantastic food! Hidalgo's staff put me at ease with their knowledge about minimizing cross contamination. Everything I've tried there has been excellent. Took non GF people there too and everyone left happy!! “From Canada, was in town for a flight, the food is absolutely amazing. Everything so good. I had a mango margarita, traditional tacos and guacamole. The guacamole was so fresh and full of cilantro. Loved every bite. We don’t have food like this where I’m from. The staff was friendly and kind. Food was so reasonably priced. If they opened a place like this in Canada they could charge three times as what they do. Music played in the restaurant was always great. Many of my favourite Latin songs. I’d come back in a heartbeat. If you’re staying near the airport. Eat here!!“

“My family and I had just returned from a long, exhausting flight, and we were not looking forward to a three hour layover. Upon hearing our growling stomachs, we decided to get a bite to eat, not knowing what would transpire. We found ourselves in a long line of hangry airport-goers and it was taking a lifetime. But the second Hamza stepped up to fill in, the line didn’t stand a chance. Hamza was a dream. He made me and my brother’s burritos lickety split and was incredibly friendly to us all. He cheered up our little brother who was having a bad day by calling him “King” (because his burrito was so full). I don’t know what else to say other than Hamzad changed my day for the better. He has inspired us in more ways than I expected. Even his humble smile and impeccable sense of duty—he gets the job done while making it fun. Hamza is a testament to the good in this world. Whenever I come back to Detroit International airport, my brothers and I will be the first to come to Qdoba, just to see him again. People like him give me hope for the seemingly bleak future. I also got a Doritos locos taco cheesy Gordita crunch and a cheesy chicken melt, and I gotta say, whoever is back there making sure the taco shells are crunchy and the flatbread is toasty needs a raise. 10/10 would eat again.“
