Omg most amazing tasting pastor tacos! Since moving from southwest Detroit I’m always looking for great authentic Mexican food, and this was definitely a hidden gem!!! Great service, quick, hot food, and a great variety of food! I’ll definitely be a regular!
The service was quick and friendly. The food was amazing! We had esquites with chorizo, taquitos and quesabirria. We had the leftovers for lunch the next day. We will definitely be back.
Most authentic Mexican food we've found in MI so far! Everything we've tried is AMAZING every time! My favorites are the Birria (tacos or quesabirria, both are phenomenal!) and the steak Quesadilla. Other family members love the Burrito Bowls (we've tried steak, chicken, and Al Pastor) and the chicken Quesadilla. Their guacamole is always fresh and made with ripe ingredients. You truly can't go wrong with anything you order from here!!

Emelia’s Taqueria is a small authentic Mexican restaurant that started with a food truck and expanded to a store front in the same parking lot, with the food truck still out front for catering and events. The atmosphere is small, very clean, and what you’d expect for a small strip mall restaurant, with cute tables and chair set up for sitting down and eating inside. The service is friendly and kind, with employees who smile and treat customers like cherished family members. The food is excellent, made with love, care, and quality. Menu options include taquitos, barria tacos, quesabirrias, loaded nachos, quesobirria combo plate, Street Tacos, grilled burrito, burrito bowl, birria tacos, street corn cup, guacamole and chips, and a fresca made fresh. The green salsa and rice are unmatched, and the strawberry lemonade aguas fresca is also popular. Prices are pretty much under $20 across the board. Food is ready quickly in less than 10 minutes. One reviewer noted the queso was not to their preference. Overall, a 10/10 all around spot for a quick bite.
