“I had 5 broken teeth and 2 large abscesses and couldn't eat much of anything but was starving. I was looking for something soft to gum. Thinking tamales or beans and cheese. Of the options the flour tortilla beef birria seemed to be the best fit. I ordered those, a side of beans and, a side of consomme. Was amazing. Just on the edge of what I can tolerate heat wise (I am a wimp). Great taste. I used the consomme to make birria ramen for a later meal. (Just beef ramen, 2 sticks string cheese, and the consomme). It was also great, very satisfying.“

There were no cars in the parking lot and no one in the restaurant and it was lunchtime! I should have known better. Don’t waste your time or your money at this dump! “I first discovered Galindo’s through their food truck where I ordered the birria tacos with the birria sauce — and let me tell you, it was love at first bite! The flavor, the juiciness, the quality… everything was on point. I was so impressed, I came back the very next day with my son and had been bragging about them ever since!

When the food truck hadn’t been local for a while, I didn’t hesitate to take the drive to their nearest restaurant location — a little over 20 miles from my home — and I have zero regrets. The recipe stayed true, and the food did NOT disappoint. Still just as flavorful, juicy, and absolutely delicious.

The service was top-tier too. The owner/manager personally checked in on us and provided superb service that went above and beyond. He even recommended their other location that serves alcoholic beverages — now that definitely caught my interest, and I’ll definitely be visiting soon!

To top it all off, their prices are fair and reasonable for the quality you get. I’ve purchased from Galindo’s three separate times now, and each time, they’ve nailed it. Consistency, flavor, service — they’ve got it all.

No offense to Troy or any other location, but I absolutely fell in LOVE with this place...including Ariona! I mostly order odd combinations but she listened and got me EXACTLY what I wanted without repeating myself, is fast, has a tremendous demeanor, is very friendly but not overdoing it (which tells me its genuine) and not that yall care but she's beautiful as well Haha. Also Kyla on the register was great as well. I tried not to beg Ariona for the rest of my visit to come work at the Troy location the whole time since this is so far away Haha. Food is fresh and the place is clean (unlike most others). And, I was there about 3 hours (waiting to do what I had to do close by) and everyone waa still laughing and pleasant when I left at 9! I didn't wanna leave! I'll definitely be back! A thousand stars!“

“I went there for dinner today after a long week of work to start my birthday weekend! My birthday is tomorrow. I am handicapped and need a low table. The patio was the only low table. Next to a guy and his dog. There were 7 in all out there. It smelled like wet, nasty, dirty, need a bath, dog! I spent $42! On top of that, my waitress walked away after asking me if my Mahi Mahi tacos were made correctly and I said I clearly haven't bit into them yet, and after I asked her if she could smell wet dog. I never saw her again. Did I want another glass of wine? Was my food made correctly? I had to ask another waitress if she could grab my waitress and have her bring my bill and to go containers! Then my waitress comes and says I was just coming over. I said I never saw you since you brought my food! She again walked away! Niiiiiice customer service! Maybe she should think about another line of work! I have 38yrs of CSR experience! Maybe next time she will be worthy of a tip! She sure wasn't this time and I will not be going back to the non service dog patio or restaurant! Which is a shame as you make the Mahi Mahi tacos how I like, BJ's Brewhouse doesn't.“

“My family and I had just returned from a long, exhausting flight, and we were not looking forward to a three hour layover. Upon hearing our growling stomachs, we decided to get a bite to eat, not knowing what would transpire. We found ourselves in a long line of hangry airport-goers and it was taking a lifetime. But the second Hamza stepped up to fill in, the line didn’t stand a chance. Hamza was a dream. He made me and my brother’s burritos lickety split and was incredibly friendly to us all. He cheered up our little brother who was having a bad day by calling him “King” (because his burrito was so full). I don’t know what else to say other than Hamzad changed my day for the better. He has inspired us in more ways than I expected. Even his humble smile and impeccable sense of duty—he gets the job done while making it fun. Hamza is a testament to the good in this world. Whenever I come back to Detroit International airport, my brothers and I will be the first to come to Qdoba, just to see him again. People like him give me hope for the seemingly bleak future. Kudos to the cashier as well he was pretty cool“

Friendly and courteous staff, food was handed to us before we could put our payment away, and the burritos looked like damn authentic egg rolls so perfect-yet precisely wrapped!
