Galindo's is a benchmark of quality and authenticity when it comes to Mexican cuisine in the Downriver area. They are known for their tortas, which come in every permutation imaginable, at a fair price, in a huge quantity, at the absolute highest quality. Their tacos and other Mexican fare are also great, but my favorite thing there is the sopa de fideo. I can drink a gallon of that soup and not feel any worse for wear. Seated quickly....served quickly....slightly better than what you'd expect from a small town Mexican restaurant. Hot salsa was homemade and excellent. Right off of US30 so very convenient. I will say that it is a little on the higher priced side but portions were good. No complaints.

Another awesome torta! Got the Acapulco torta (pork, mushrooms, and Oaxacan cheese). This is my favorite torta. And I love their French fries. They fry them properly (not crispy and you can taste the potato) which I have found very hard to find. Should have taken a picture, but I devoured it. Great guac-jalapeno salsa and chips too.
