“This lil cozy place is a hidden gem in Southgate! We were recommended by our Ameriprise planner (thank you Shawn) down the road and this is my first time dining here. The food was fantastic with the Lobster Ravioli the best we both have ever had. I see others have commented on the food, so I will focus on the LOVELY staff... from the initial greeting to our fabulous server, Heather. Thank you, thank you for SUCH a lovely time and outstanding dining experience. Since I am from Southgate, I will say...skip the chain restaurants and make Vic's a MUST. We WILL be back again!!!! Highly, highly recommend. They have a tiny patio as well, if want an app and some wine outdoors. Enjoy!“

“This restaurant is consistently flooded with take-out orders all day and evening. We favor their Greek Salad and Deboned Chicken Platter. The food is as healthy and fresh as can be. We estimate that we have ordered from Alex Kabob around 50 times. Expect to wait 15-20 minutes to pick up because of the demand.“

“Kekos rebranded Hot n New The Corner Brunch House, went twice last week first week open. Sunday 1pm a full house had to wait ten minutes for a table, parking lot full. The words out full Brunch everyday open till 3pm. Super exciting new marvelous dishes and fancy Coffee menu. See photos of menu in my post. “I first discovered Galindo’s through their food truck where I ordered the birria tacos with the birria sauce — and let me tell you, it was love at first bite! The flavor, the juiciness, the quality… everything was on point. I was so impressed, I came back the very next day with my son and had been bragging about them ever since!

When the food truck hadn’t been local for a while, I didn’t hesitate to take the drive to their nearest restaurant location — a little over 20 miles from my home — and I have zero regrets. The recipe stayed true, and the food did NOT disappoint. Still just as flavorful, juicy, and absolutely delicious.

The service was top-tier too. The owner/manager personally checked in on us and provided superb service that went above and beyond. He even recommended their other location that serves alcoholic beverages — now that definitely caught my interest, and I’ll definitely be visiting soon!

To top it all off, their prices are fair and reasonable for the quality you get. I’ve purchased from Galindo’s three separate times now, and each time, they’ve nailed it. Consistency, flavor, service — they’ve got it all.

“We had a wonderful dinner at the Red Robin in Southgate, MI. We sat at the bar and Nic took great care of us. Nic made us feel welcome and provided excellent service to us. It was freezing outside, but it was warm and cozy inside at the bar. We had a fantastic, fun dinner with drinks during Happy Hour and we will be back this week with friends.“

“Giant grilled cheese was very good and fries were good also..I couldn't update with more pictures but be for warned .. they picture the grilled cheese with fries but the grilled cheese alone is $11 and if you want fries they are $4 more..

“The food was fresh, hot, and tasty. Generous amount of food for the price. I ordered me and my boyfriend sweet and sour chicken with shrimp fried rice (upcharge) for lunch one with an egg roll the other with the egg drop soup. It is so hard to find a Chinese restaurant that actually has stuff in their rice that gives it flavor a lot of places have absolutely plain fried rice which I am not a fan of not a onion or sprout in sight but theirs does and I’ll be back to try other dishes. Glad I didn’t go off the reviews this will probably be my go to for Chinese moving forward.“

“This is my first visit to Mandarin Kitchen. I ordered #4 almond chicken combination with wonton soup and egg roll and hot tea. The almond chicken was pretty good topped with brown gravy. Wonton soup and egg roll was nice and hot and (egg roll was) crispy. 4 and 1/2 stars.“
