“We’ve lived in Lincoln park for 5 years and always drove by Vic’s but never went in…. Yesterday my husband and I had dinner here and OMG were we impressed! Not only was the service great but the food was the BEST Italian we’ve ever had. It’s a must try for anyone wanting amazing authentic Italian food. 1000% recommend!!“

Me and my boyfriend come here all the time to get chicken shawarma’s and they are always fresh and delicious! We ordered from door dash tonight and had some complications because they close at 10 and even though we called Alex’s to make sure they would still let our dasher pick up our order, door dash still canceled it, but Alex’s made sure we still got our order! We have no car right now and I’m eight months pregnant so they really have no idea how much their help means to me! They went above and beyond and I am more than grateful for it! Thank you!! :) :)“

“Wonderful restaurant who are affordable with great food options. I got the mushroom Swiss burger and it was quite good. My son loved the all you can eat French fries.Parking: The handicapped spots were farther away than the parking designated for to go orders. That was strange.“

“There are not too many places left to eat open 24 hours downriver. But I would pick this place any hour of the day. Everything I have ordered has been great. Working late shifts it's hard to find good food priced decently. Downriver Coney is on point.“

“Another awesome torta! Got the Acapulco torta (pork, mushrooms, and Oaxacan cheese). This is my favorite torta. And I love their French fries. They fry them properly (not crispy and you can taste the potato) which I have found very hard to find. Should have taken a picture, but I devoured it. Great guac-jalapeno salsa and chips too.“

“After church today we set to look for an establishment that was open. Being that it was Christmas we had our work cut out for us. We drove for a few miles and saw an open sign so we walked in. From the moment we walked in we were greeted with smiling faces and a Merry Christmas! The location was busy with other patrons (regulars). We were seated drinks and menus came quickly! The service staff was great! Smiles, smiles, and more smiles! The food came out piping HOT! It was delicious! Let’s just say we may have found a spot for our after church brunch! “I did a take out order and their Mexican sandwich was soooooo good!! I got mine without gravy because I'm a picky eater but the amount of cheese they put on there was mouth watering. I got queso as well that I didn't care for, but my friend enjoyed it so each their own. I'd order there again!“

“Needed to pick up a quick bite when returning home after a live show downtown, and there aren't many places open after midnight anymore! This one was, and the food was great. The large grilled chicken salad is a standout for me, loaded with fresh lettuce, delicious chicken, crisp tomatoes, and plenty of cheese. My companions loved the coney and patty melt. A Downriver classic!“

“4 of us went for lunch on a Saturday. I had a Reuben Sandwich. It was out of this world delicious and humongous. I could barely finish half of the sandwich. Another person had the super bird sandwich. While he said it was good he said not nearly as good as the Ruben. Another person got the giant corned beef and had sauerkraut and thousand island dressing added to it. Not sure why he didn't get Ruben but I'm pretty sure that's what it was. I think the fact that it said giant is why he got it. Another person got the Philly cheesesteak and said it was very good and would definitely get it again. We also shared onion rings which we did enjoy. Always a sure bet place to go especially if you take out of town guests. Planning on going back for Polish night the menu looked fantastic.“

“Parking: Location is in a mini strip, on busier days and times, the parking lot is quite full. However, on average, it is not difficult to find parking. Plus, if you don't mind walking, you can park on the side street next to the restaurant.“

“Have traveled 560 miles to get mussels with blue cheese n bacon for at least 15 years. Well, they discontinued because of high prices. That didn't ever stop me from going there. But I loved there mussels. Well cross that place of my list.“
