Stopped in last night for Wednesday special. The tamales were excellent. Best I've ever had. Rice and beans were great as well. Will definitely go back. Service was awesome and everyone was very friendly.
My mom and I absolutely love Maria's! The food is fantastic - simple and flavorful. We're Mexican and have tried quite a few restaurants throughout Metro Detroit. We prefer Maria's over any other restaurant. Atmosphere is clean with a nice little water/coffee cart and real silverware for dining in. The place is small with 4/5 tables and counter-top seats overlooking the street. Their carryout gets busy and parking is limited. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Highly recommend.

This was my first time eating here and I was pleasantly surprised. We ordered a Botana and it was huge, enough for at least 4-6 people. The street tacos were perfect, I ordered the Friday Daily special, Birria Taco and it was perfection. The food was delicious, the employees were friendly. I will definately be back.
