“Found this hidden gem on the way to see The Warning at the Majestic in Detroit Michigan. The food from start to finish was absolutely delicious! The salsa was full of flavor and the tacos were so good. The beans and rice were amazing as well!!! The price was decent as well! 10/10 would recommend! We will be back when we come up for Detroit Redwings games!!!“

“I've driven by Angelina's hundreds of times. Sunday, we decided to stop by. Very pleasantly surprised! The food was very good, the staff was very friendly and helpful, and the restaurant is very nice inside. She had the normal size (haha) hamburger nachos. Well actually, we had them for a couple days afterwards too! ? And I had the chicken and chorizo street tacos. Portions were large, and the flavor was great! We will be back.
Kid-friendliness: Angelina's does not serve alcohol. So, it should be a great atmosphere for kids.“

“wow, omg this place was AWESOME, 1st time I dined in, I got the el chapo torta, it was fabulous. Leigha, whose father started this place and conceptualized the tortas, can't say enough. I struggled to finish half of it. my wife got a mango margarita which was so delicious. would definitely come back here. AWESOME.“

“There are plenty of Mexican joints in Amherstburg now, but this is the one that keeps me coming back with its good sauce selection, affordable Burrito of the Day deals, and friendly staff. Store is well-maintained and the location is convenient for most people. Portion sizes on the burritos are generous without being messy. Really good store overall.“

“First time going there. I ordered a home made corn quesadilla stuffed with mushrooms, epazote, cheese and grilled onions. My wife ordered a huarache, which is an oval corn made, thicker dough like tortilla topped with half Mexican chorizo and half chopped steak or carne asada with fresh cheese sliced nopalito or tender cactus, onions and green and red salsas.Both were delicious. The only thing I wasn't expecting was a service charge besides taxes. I guess a lot of places are doing that nowadays.“

“The food was really good and my wife really liked how the inside looked. We got take out but we want to go back and dine in. If you are ordering take out I suggest ordering in person and waiting. They are super fast at making food. From walking in ordering and walking out was literally 6 minutes and the food was hot!“

“This was a desperation stop. I wanted a margarita and enchiladas. So we headed to Detroit only to find every Mexican restaurant slammed out the door. I refuse to wait 45 minutes to eat anywhere.So we headed back downriver. Every place was slammed. I looked on Google and ended up here. Haven't been here in 20 years.Things happen for a reason. Great experience. Excellent service. Fresh Homemade Food. Tasty margarita.I judge Mexican restaurants on the beans and the beef. Main the grease level. Both here were clean. Beans were very good, and the beef wasn't greasy. Beef was also very clean. No rocks or grizzle.The inside is dated, but I don't hold that against any place as long as Food and Service is spot on.The young man that was our server was tentative and polite. We definitely will be back.“

“Taco shells were not cooked and rice and beans were ice cold! Straight from the refrigerator! Called the Manager and he couldn’t be bothered to come to the phone! I sure won’t be back! There were no cars in the parking lot and no one in the restaurant and it was lunchtime! I should have known better. Don’t waste your time or your money at this dump! I won’t be back that’s for sure!“
