“The Earle is a regular go-to for a good conversation and great food. The menu is very consistent, and I miss the mussels special! The wait staff is excellent and the wine selection as well. The waitstaff has been with them for years and that says something. It's nice to have live music, especially non-intrustive pleasant guitar.“
“Friendly workers? CHECKGreat atmosphere? CHECK CHECKAMAZING PIZZA?!? CHECK CHECK CHECK!!Let me tell you when I say you won’t find a better slice of pizza in Michigan! The pictures on the wall are great to look at while you’re waiting for your order! And once you get that pizza, you gotta dig in right away because what’s not better when it’s fresh right? It’s a 40 minute drive for me and I’ll do it every time for a slice of pizza from here! 100%!!“
“Staff is on top of their game. The food is 5 stars, and the wine selection is frickin dope. A bit pricey but worth every penny. We had wine flights which allows you to try multiple different wines and it is comes on a placemats that tells you what wine it is. Pretty coolVegetarian options: There are vegetarian optionsDietary restrictions: There are options for people with dietary restrictionsParking: There is a big ol parking lot for you to bring all your cars.Wheelchair accessibility: I'm pretty sure it is wheelchair accessible“
“My girlfriend, Sarah, and I visited this restaurant to celebrate a special occasion. We weren’t able to make a reservation ahead of time for only 2 people, but the wait was only a few minutes (although we got here around 6 and it seemed like the wait got longer by the time we left). We started off with the house made focaccia and would highly recommend this. The honey butter that came with this was the star of the show. We also had the margherita pizza and the pesto + pomodoro pasta. The pizza was delicious, thin, and filling. The pasta was very fresh and we liked how it was cut and shaped. The pasta was perfectly salty and just enough to be filling. Wait staff was great, wait times were short, and the environment was a good mix between casual and fancy (no need to dress up, but you also wouldn’t stick out if you did!). We highly recommend this restaurant!!!Parking: There is a paid parking garage about a block away on Thompson street that is $1.20 per hour, there is very limited street parking that is also paid parking.“
“if you are near a Buddy’s Pizza this is what you need to order! Add drinks but i have to say that this eatery is too complex to put all my eggs in one basket. I have been patronizing Buddy’s Pizza over a decade and here’s what i think. skip the alcohol while you wait and this is what to order:1: large house salad with extra dressing2: large pan pizza just need pepperoniif you get this order i guarantee you will be hooked forever… plz just get full side house salad and dressing and a full sized deep dish Detroit style pizza that is the envy of most food options.. if you are near a buddys consider yourself lucky… try it … you will not be sorry“
“Ordered 2 pizzas, their special of the day soup(kale sausage and potatoes). Also the tiramisu. The mortadella pizza hands down is my new obsession. The pistachio pesto is the perfect pairing! Extra done with red pepper flakes easily made this the best pizza I've had.The funghi pizza was meh. I added caramelized onion and zucchini to mine. It's missing something and I'm just not sure what. I had ordered red sauce on the side but sadly got food to go and it wasn't included. The soup was not great. Very bland. Definitely not worth the price. Also container was half empty...Tiramisu was solid and a decent sized piece. I'm very happy with it. Very fresh tasting. Strong coffee flavor that was extremely pleasantly balanced with the cream.“
“Went here because it was close to my AirBnB (for the Michigan game) and it was a convenient walk after the bars. Even the next morning, the pizza was really good. Highly recommend - I'll definitely be going back next time I'm in A²“
“I have mixed feelings that are mostly positive. The place is busy most days and can seat you within 30 minutes. When you are seated you're taken care of (very quickly even if they are busy) bringing dishes and asking if you want cheese before you get your water to your lips. I feel like most of the past dishes are oily and the salad gets drenched sometimes, but they know how to cook a steak! Great venue for a date.Parking: Lots of parking almost always a small walk to the front door.“
“I want this restaurant to succeed! We need good pizza downtown. The pizza was very tasty and the salads were really generously sized. The only problem was that we took out, and the hot pizza was placed directly into the box without a liner to slightly hold it off the bottom, so it was soggy instead of crisp. Detroit pizza should be crisp. The leftovers were perfect when heated in the oven, since it crisped the crust.“
“Good pizza and grinders. I especially like to support this business because the owner is not afraid to display his support for our service members. Very patriotic and isn’t scared to display a sign that says Merry Christmas. We need more American business owners like this. The staff is very friendly too. Oh, and they serve draft beer :) thank you to the owner for not being woke like so many other American businesses.“
“This one is a little bit of a mixed bag. Some of the staff are a little grouchy, and the food is okay. Really only come in the warmer weather months cuz the best seating is the outside courtyard. That all being said, the sangria and strawberry drink make it all worth it lol. I definitely come here at least a few times a summer. It's a campus staple.“
“We had a great experience at Palio during a weeknight dinner. The restaurant seems to cater to a lot of locals, with many families dining together. Ambiance was nice and traditional, with the decor inspired by the Palio di Siena, with many of the flags for the competing teams. The food was delicious and prices were fair. The garlic bread with cheese was substantial and the tiramisu for desert was huge (and very tasty). I had the pollo alla parmigiana and highly recommend the dish. They do not have the traditional primo and secondo piatto, but instead, you can pick the pasta and then add the protein you prefer. I would definitely come back again if I am in the area.“
