“The best burgers and Pizza in Saline, beats just about anything in neighboring Ann Arbor and Ypsilanti as well. An old School bar with an Up North feel, the Bartenders are all Super Cool, Amber, Nichole, and Bailey all do a great Job. Check out their Steak Night sometime.“
“Overall great Brunch only hang up was hostess she checked us in said it would be a few minutes after 15 minutes of waiting we had to remind her we're waiting as she sat others that came in after us. Maybe teach her not to be in her cell phone watching videos and pay attention to her customers. Other than that food, service, and beverages lights out fantastic“
“Loved this place. We stopped in on a recommendation from a friend and were completely surprised. Mark, the owner, and Jacob, the bartender/cashier, were so kind and personable. The drinks were great and the general vibe of the place is welcoming and promising. Feels like we found a hidden gem at the hidden king.:)“
“I was so impressed with this place. Even though they have a high overall rating, there seemed to be some concerns about service and prices. Ok, so this place isn't cheap by any means and if you are starving, go elsewhere, but the food was delicious. We had the hirmasa which was amazing, the pickes which were good, the branzino which was delicious, the steamed clams and mussels which were uniquely yummy, and the short rib pho. We also had the sticky rice dessert which was fruity and interesting. We ordered several drinks from the menu and didn't dislike any of them. They are very different yet good. Our server, Nick, checked on us regularly and didn't let us go without food or a drink. I will be back.“
“I recently had the pleasure of dining at Vinology and had an incredible experience. Chef Nick's educational session on knife skills and knife sharpening was both informative and engaging. Not only did I leave with improved culinary knowledge, but I also gained insight into the restaurant's commitment to sustainability, with a focus on sourcing proteins responsibly and operating on a no-waste platform. The food was outstanding, reflecting their dedication to quality and ethical practices. Vinology and Chef Nick have truly set a high standard for culinary excellence and environmental consciousness. Highly recommended for both food enthusiasts, wine-lovers, and eco-conscious diners alike! I cannot wait to see what else Chef Nick has in store for Vinology!-I apologize! I think that was an error. I have changed it :)“
“My visit to the Carlyle Grill was for a work event and we were in a separate room. While our service was fantastic, the food was not what I expected. However, based on a buffet style meal, I would like to go back and have the full guest experience. I think it’s worth the trip.“
“This place is pretty cool. The food is wonderful, the service is good. It’s just a bit noisy for me. The drinks and appetizers are awesome! I especially love the cauliflower bites and even the brussel sprouts (and I usually don’t like them).Parking: It’s part of the strip mall, so… you may have to park a little ways away, but it’s no biggie.“
“I dined with my 4 year old & two 13 year olds. We all shared two baskets of fries, a Club and a tenders app. Including a beer & Pepsi the total only $50. The real 5 ⭐️ goes to the service staff. I’ve truly never experienced better. My toddler dropped her water glass which shattered under our table. Before I knew what had happened the staff were at our table to help. We stood out of the way where someone helped me dry her pants & replaced her water. The staff cleaned the mess then moped/dried the floor within ~3 min. It was AMAZING. Thank you!!“
“Whoever that girl was working on 4/15 around 2:30pm. She's absolutely incredible!! Not only was she fast making my drink she was so sweet and cheerful! I've been having the worst week and her good vibes were so contagious that she made me laugh and smile. I needed that so bad. She's awesome!!Dietary restrictions: Dairy-Free milk options ?“
“Aventura has been on our list for a while, I’m so glad we finally made a reservation! The food was absolutely delicious, and wonderful customer service. We sat at the bar, and everyone that we encountered was so friendly, they took great care of us. Our favorites were Milhojas Bravas (potato pave with garlic aioli), Datiles con Chorizo (bacon wrapped chorizo stuffed dates), and Setas a la Planxa (seared wild mushrooms). They brought “birthday churros” for my husband, they were also fantastic! Can’t wait to go back and try more of the menu items!“
“Wow, just had our first meal at Sava’s and it did not disappoint! The aesthetic is chic and trendy but not over the top. Service was excellent, Iman was an absolute gem! Iman was kind, helpful, and very sweet. For cocktails we had Chardonnay and Raki Sour—Raki Sour is a must!…sweet, but not too sweet, a favorite now. Tuna tartare was superb! Fresh and absolutely delicious; not a a bite left. Fish tacos and salmon for the main—both quite yummy and very fresh! Ended with the Chocolate Decadence; and decadent it was! If you like chocolate at all, this dessert is for you. Can’t wait to go back for another fabulous evening at Sava’s!“
“Really cute spot for breakfast/lunch or just to hang out with a coffee! Love the vibe inside and am so curious to see the outside patio come summer time! I got a latte and a few bagels and everything was great. Not too busy and service was quick and easy, will definitely return soon.“
“Our first time having legit Detroit-style pizza and it didn’t disappoint (coming from an admitted pizza snob). We were in town for the Thunder Over Michigan air show. Being exhausted from the workdays event, we were searching for comfort in a delicious, warm pizza on a rainy night. Wanting to dine-in, we passed on a few other closer pizzerias to our hotel. Service was excellent & friendly (our server chatted with us about the airplanes and that her son was planning on education in the aviation field). Pizza was tasty and quick to the table. It was late evening; but, this did not affect the quality of service or the food. Well lit, clean interior and a cool place to visit. If we are ever back this way, we will definitely visit again. Thank you all for the excellent food and welcoming atmosphere.“
“It did not disappoint. The atmosphere had a cool vibe, service was great, the food was excellent AND we were given fresh silverware and plates between each course! So important. We got a great wine recommendation from our server (in a section of the menu we usually don't choose from - light and delicate) but it turned out to be a wonderful pairing with the range of foods we had. We will definitely go back and I do recommend it if you're ever in the area! We had the following: * Summer rolls * Mussels * Seafood bisque * Shrimp and mushroom risotto * Le Orme Italian wine“
“OMG, SO FUN! If you have not been, you have to go! The atmosphere was great, they had a waiter for drinks & appetizers, 3/4 comedian’s last time were super funny, & I had the best time for my birthday! Not to mention I got the tickets because you can enter to win free tickets for your birthday month ! Signed up to go to two more shows for Febuary already! Comedy is the best relief & makes you forget how stressed you are! 10/10 Highly reccommend! Signed: A first time customer turned into a lifelong customer!“
“This neighborhood bar may be unassuming from the outside, but when you arrive upstairs it's a warm and inviting atmosphere. It's not the largest place, but the smaller size just adds to the cozy character. The menu has a number of excellent cocktail and drink options with excellent bartenders. Personally, the Hurricane drink that they make is my favorite. If you want an intimate evening of drinks with a date or a night with a few friends, this is the perfect place.“
“There was a Nigerian food truck which was amazing!! We had oxtails rice and veggies ? the venue only serves drinks which are amazing as well! I recommend the revolver if you enjoy Whiskey! Babe had the fox river bramble cranberry which was delightfully refreshing ?“
“We stayed for two nights while visiting the Ann Arbor area. It was an easy check-in process. The front desk staff were professional and friendly. Our room was on the fourth floor and quiet. It was spacious and clean and appears to have been recently renovated. The bed was comfortable. We enjoyed the door out to the balcony overlooking the pool. The pool area was nice and had a hot tub and a sauna which we used. We appreciated that there were adult swim times after 9pm. An employee had come through shortly after 9 and spoke to someone whose teenager was still swimming, I'm assuming that it was to let them know that it was adult only time as the teenager had gotten out of the pool. We ate breakfast at the restaurant both days and the food was really good. There was plenty of parking and was easily accessible to the entrance and elevator. I think the Weber is a good value for the experience. I would definitely consider staying there again if I was visiting the area.“
“Went here last summer to see kill bill the rapper then once again to see Rav. fantastic and tight experience give a great scene for an excited audience and both performers absolutely rocked the house for us. i really hope i find more concerts id love to attend “
“COREY!! Thank you! Hopefully I spelt your name correctly! Thank you for your wonderful service man! I appreciate you!The food was dank! Atmosphere was top notch! Beer was AWESOME! I would recommend this place to any and all! Some of my family is in town for the show tonight at the Blind Pig! We got lunch here! Glad we did too because everywhere else was packed! They were so happy to have us.I got a pizza with my mom and it was so good. It was the garlic + onion and the cheese on it was WILD. My brother in law got the Walleye, sister got the Butter Milk Chicken, and her friend got the Tree Town Cob! 10 out of 10! Would recommend.Thank you for the wonderful food and service!!“
“This was a good stop on our bar crawl. The staff were friendly and helpful and fast. And the drinks were good. Only complaint is they only have 2 single person restrooms available for the whole bar and it was absolutely packed. So the line for the restroom was excessive.“
“Both the food and drinks were excellent. I had the pimento cheese and fries with the dips and both were incredible. For the drink I had the islay sour, which is probably in my top 5 for best cocktails I’ve ever had. I would definitely recommend checking out this place.“
“Michael and Leann were absolutely amazing! I was in Ann Arbor for a very special time of meeting my biological family for the 1st time. Their kind, friendly, and attentive service couldn't have been better. The food was just as amazing and even accommodated a vegan diet. The entire staff was awesome, but the personal touch was Leann's giant hug and best wishes as I headed to meet my family for the 1st time. Thank you for being a part of making it that much greater!~DiannaDietary restrictions: Accommodated a vegan diet and everything was delicious!Parking: Plenty of parking!“
“Had the best service today at lunch, my girlfriend and I met up on our lunch break it was very busy we were worried we wouldn't have enough time and our server Sara was AWESOME she handled herself very well and we were very pleased, we will definitely be back and will request her as our server.“
“Condado tacos was not a bad place in Ann-Arbor, Michigan! The food was good but in my opinion the tacos weren’t that warm. The service was friendly, we got seated very fast. The atmosphere of the taco restaurant was nice, I liked the wall art inside, it’s very unique.“
“One of the best times to visit this place is at night.Chill with your friends, drink with your partner or just hang alone at the bar, this place offers it all.I tried lobster mac, and it tasted good. Creamy a little but overall it was worth the money. The drink was too strong, that is a good thing. ?Paloma was good.I think they were short-staffed at night.Good place, with chill vibes.Vegetarian options: SomeDietary restrictions: You can askParking: Park outsideKid-friendliness: YesWheelchair accessibility: Yes“
“Great venue for live shows and for dancing. I appreciate that it's a smaller space so it definitely feels more intimate and not as chaotic as other places might get. There's a good amount of seating and their drink prices are reasonable. Great service, great music and a chill vibe!“
“We stopped by for Happy Hour. Great place! Nice selection of draft beers and cocktails. The atmosphere is bright and welcoming and the staff was very friendly and attentive. Steve waited on us and really made us feel welcome. We will definitely be stopping by again.Vegetarian options: They have some good vegan and vegetarian options that are clearly marked. Sure wish they would include a vegan cheese option on their pizzas and sandwiches.Parking: No problem parking. Nice big lot with easy entrances.“
“We went for an early Valentine's date and I couldn't be more pleased with our decision to try this place out! The bread at the beginning of the meal was a little dry and oddly paired with a sweet butter, but then we ordered a pretzel and the cheese sauce it came with was some of the best I've ever had. Then came the French Dip and sweet potato fries. I thought I had died and gone to heaven. The waiter informed me that they had made some recipe changes and instead of caramelized onions and garlic aoili it is now served with fried onions and horseradish sauce. Whoever made those changes deserves a raise. Granted I've never tried the previous version of this sandwich, but it's current iteration is the perfect combination of flavors and textures. I'm not sure if I'll ever enjoy another French dip again. And the sweet potatoes fries were perfectly crunchy on the outside, but so soft and sweet inside. I will absolutely be back... And soon!“
“Kind of a sleeper spot on State St! My husband and I didn't have a dinner reservation on a busy Thursday evening, and most restaurants we walked past on Liberty looked to be full with people waiting. We turned the corner on State and walked past Red Hawk, which looked to have plenty of capacity for walk ins. We went in and were seated right away. Right off the bat, I liked the look and feel of the interior! Cool bar, warm and modern. It does smell a bit like beer, but I don't mind that. We got a couple of apps and an entree to share family style. I also got a Bell's Two Hearted on tap, which you can never really go wrong with. Beer was nice and cold. - Beijing Duck Quesadilla with Mango Salsa. Loved this! It is really nothing like Beijing duck wraps haha, but nevertheless, the quesadilla is meaty and cheesy and the salsa adds the perfect brightness and some acidity (think it's mango and pickled onion). - Chicken Wings. It's listed on the menu as crispy and spicy. It was definitely crispy with a thick fried batter, but not spicy. Served with ranch and blue cheese. I enjoyed! It's not my husband's favorite style of chicken wing, but I like the crunchy crispy layer. The ranch was thick and seemed house made. - Traditional Red Hawk burger (cheddar, lettuce, tomato, red onion, dill pickle) with steak fries. This was a good burger! The veggies were fresh and crisp, and the burger juicy. Steak fries were done nicely. I dipped both in ketchup. We definitely left full and happy. One word of caution though (and why I took a star off) - the food is sodium heavy (I mean, especially with our choice of order so partly on us). But I actually woke up several times over night just super super thirsty. So maybe hydrate better than I did or order healthier items to balance things out a little better haha.“
“We were staying at the graduate and stopped in for a nightcap and it was a great decision! We inquired about the Amari flight on the menu. The sampling offered three variations of the Italian liqueur but it was the knowledge Armando, the bar manager, shared that was truly amazing. He stopped by the table multiple times to ask us our thoughts and share tips on how to best enjoy the flight. After the tasting he made two amazing cocktails tailored to what we liked from amaro. Highly recommend - especially if you are lucky enough to have Armando as your bartender!“
“Great experience, better food! Can't say too much more than ask the other positive reviews. We will be back. Best advice is don't order too much like we did. We did combo 1 - pick four with a rice bowl added and took half of it home and it was for 3 people.“
“Me and my husband went here when we were having a weekend in Ann Arbor and decided to check this place out. You definitely get a feel that it's a local bar where a lot of people attend regularly, but still friendly enough that if you're not a local. Food was all right. Nothing spectacular. Atmosphere was nice and our server was very attentive“
“I want this restaurant to succeed! We need good pizza downtown. The pizza was very tasty and the salads were really generously sized. The only problem was that we took out, and the hot pizza was placed directly into the box without a liner to slightly hold it off the bottom, so it was soggy instead of crisp. Detroit pizza should be crisp. The leftovers were perfect when heated in the oven, since it crisped the crust.“
“We stopped in for a drink the past weekend. Shaun the bartender remembered us from the last time we were in back in March. He was the perfect mix of friendly and sarcastic. Then Danny walked by and remembered my husband from Christmas Eve breakfast. Definitely impressed with the staff!“
“This one is a little bit of a mixed bag. Some of the staff are a little grouchy, and the food is okay. Really only come in the warmer weather months cuz the best seating is the outside courtyard. That all being said, the sangria and strawberry drink make it all worth it lol. I definitely come here at least a few times a summer. It's a campus staple.“
“Carson's is a quaint and comfortable restaurant with great service and delicious food and drinks. It's not on Main Street and is less crowded and parking is free right in front of the restaurant. What a great thing ?Vegetarian options: Not vegan it definitely options you would see other places. You do not go here for veggie meals as a group.Parking: In front of the restaurantKid-friendliness: Did not see kids, mostly dates and couples or adults eating during my visit.Wheelchair accessibility: Yes, up front“
“The drinks here were amazing and it’s a great value - the long Islands were only 7.50. The only thing that bothered us was the fact that it took the waitress quite a long time to serve us. Another thing is that they have a fixed tip of 20%.“
“Mash doesn't have food, but the rest of it is amazing. They have a mix of different bourbons, whiskeys from all over the world, and of course your generic spirits. Combine a cool (and literally) underground atmosphere with live music most nights and you get a great place to go to grab a drink and never worry about a wait or it being over crowded!“
“Stopped here after the Saline Spring Craft Show and got one of the last tables. In spite of how busy it was, our server was attentive and we had only a short wait for our food. The perch basket was really good, with three generous perch filets, panko shrimp, hush puppies, fries and cole slaw. My only complaint was the tiny cup of slaw. I wish it had been a bigger portion. If you like local craft beer, they have a good selection of local varieties on tap!Parking: We parked in the public lot behind Salt Springs Brewery in one of the last available parking spots. It was peak dining time on a Saturday.“
