“This was a great place to stop and eat. My food was SO delicious! 10/10. We split a mini tacos to start, which is just generic wherever. They do have great ranch though. I got a Five Alarm Burger. And ohhhh it was soooo good. Probably the juiciest burger I've had. Annoyingly juicy. But so delicious. Perfect med well. My husband got the deal for Saturday which was coneys. He seemed to thoroughly enjoy his as well. Service started great but slowed once the PM rush came in. Expected, so that's fine. Super pricey. Didn't plan on spending as much, but we did do $20 in drinks as well. Overall, yes!!“

“I love this place as a bar, and the drinks are always great! My friend wasn’t feeling well, so we stopped and sat outside on the patio even though they had already closed. The staff were so kind and brought us water and Tums.

“What a gem! Echelon is truly an amazing experience! In fact, our experience was so remarkable, we ate there twice while in town. The restaurant is gorgeous, a real feast for the eyes that gives a significant nod to the building’s rich architectural past while pulling a warm art deco design in a space fitting for an architectural magazine. As amazing as the space was the entire service and food team. Our servers – Jenn on night one and Ella on night two – were so friendly, knowledgeable and everyone went above and beyond to ensure our experience at Echelon was something we would never forget (and we won’t!). We even got visits from the kitchen with Chef Joe VanWagner coming by to greet us, expediter and professional forager Marc Jacob Qualls-Sanchez coming by for a long session on his foraging expertise (amazing!), and even their new tiki bar (coming soon!) manager Max giving us the DL on that space and renovations. We felt like royalty! For a special treat above and beyond the food, service, and overall experience, the Echelon team passed around menus that night to have all the front and back of house staff autograph it for us! I am so excited to add this to the unforgettable memories of our trip to Ann Arbor. It’s absolutely no wonder that Echelon was nominated for a James Beard award. Every bite, every conversation, every story, every sensation was top-shelf!“

“The food and drinks is one of the reasons we always stop in when up here when going to the Ann Arbor VA. Staff sometimes aren't the friendliest or seems like they don't want to be there but always professional just wouldn't hurt to smile either so if I could I would give 4.7 stars but only allows full stars so had to dock them for that!“

“First time dining here. Started at bar with small bites from the Happy Hour menu. The Skirt Steak, Croquetas, Bacon Dates and Almendras Pina were AMAZING!!!! Dinner was equally good. “Went out here last weekend with a couple friends after work. The place has a laid-back vibe, not too loud, not dead either, which I liked. Bartender was friendly and didn’t rush us even when it got a little busy. Drinks were solid and priced about what you’d expect for the area. I tried a whiskey cocktail and it was made well, nothing fancy but done right. Seating was comfortable and we were able to actually talk without yelling. It’s the kind of bar you could come back to for a casual night or to watch a game. Overall, a pretty decent spot.“

“I was surprised how busy the restaurant was at 8:30 on a Wednesday and very glad I made a reservation. I was promptly seated and welcomed by my server. The cocktail list of s inventive and I really enjoyed their take on a margarita, the Dame Mas. The roasted beets, heirloom tomatoes, and burrata was a greater starter. In addition to being beautiful it was a complex interplay of flavors and textures that worked wonderfully together. The mahi mahi fish tacos were also excellent. I enjoyed the slightly sweet mango salsa contrasting with the crunch and slight bitterness of shredded cabbage. Despite how busy they were, service was prompt and attentive throughout my meal. Very enjoyable evening.“

We had the area in the front blocked off. It felt like hanging out in a front porch with friends, drinking, laughing, and just enjoying ourselves. “The bartender Kenny has served me every time I have come to this location and I absolutely adore them. He is kind, friendly, and can keep a wonderful conversation while running all over the place and making drinks. This is the only restaurant I have seen operate with 1 server and a bartender that also serves tables and they pull it off well. The morning staff are the only reason I continue to return I've only been here 3 times and I'm already known by first name and my order and drinks are memorized. I truly am made to feel important and valued by the amazing team“

She was warm, attentive, knowledgeable, and made us feel genuinely cared for throughout the entire evening. “I dined with my 4 year old & two 13 year olds. We all shared two baskets of fries, a Club and a tenders app. Including a beer & Pepsi the total only $50. The real 5 ⭐️ goes to the service staff. I’ve truly never experienced better. My toddler dropped her water glass which shattered under our table. Before I knew what had happened the staff were at our table to help. We stood out of the way where someone helped me dry her pants & replaced her water. The staff cleaned the mess then moped/dried the floor within ~3 min. It was AMAZING. Thank you!!“

“There's no pretense here. It's a bunch of tables at Whole Foods. It's great for a reasonably priced crafty beer or glass of wine. There's lots of food to choose from from the store, a coffee counter and smoothie bar too. I wouldn't come for the atmosphere but would for a place to sit, talk, meet, or do some work.“

“TLDR; TBP is a very intimate venue with excellent shows. (@Steve Hoffstetter) The Blind Pig did a great job managing our ADA/accommodation and made us feel genuinely welcomed. Regardless of your disability, (or lack of disability), if you have a chance to visit The Blind Pig- do it! You won’t regret it. They went above and beyond, (where so very many other businesses fail) was with our accommodations; as my mother used a cane to get around after breaking her hip. While yes, they legally are obligated to because of the ADA, however, where some places do the bare minimum, like leave people hanging, or make them feel like a burden for asking, TBP makes you feel truly welcome. Faith made sure my phone calls were returned in a very timely fashion (I purchased the tickets a day and a half before the show- she was definitely on it, to respond so quickly with care). Our seats were marked reserved, there were multiple people who could direct us where to go and who to contact (if needed) upon arrival. There’s been something that happened in our family several months ago that hasn’t brought joy to any of us; and seeing my mother relax and laugh, like she hasn’t done in months, made the extra night special. Thank you Faith, Molly, and all the other employees of TBP for making it a truly memorable experience. I can’t wait to see another show there. 💕“
