Totoro Reviews
What a great find in Ann Arbor!
Was in town for the art fair and had a great meal here with my daughter, who loves Salmon sashimi. I had a few rolls myself, and we both loved every bite. Also- the miso soup was outstanding!
It was fun seeing the sushi boats and boxes ordered by others, quite a lot of options! Look forward to returning on our next visit!
Good food in a good atmosphere. Definitely recommend the Bentonville box specials. Prices are a little high.
Fast service, staffs pay attention to customers.

Totoro is a popular sushi restaurant in Ann Arbor, offering a wide selection of food and drinks. The pricing is reasonable, and portion sizes are comparable to other sushi/Japanese restaurants in the area. The food is highly praised, with customers giving it excellent reviews. The restaurant has multiple vegan options, and the staff is accommodating in providing alternatives for dietary needs. Customers enjoy the vegetable rolls, such as the pickled radish roll, as well as the Zaru Soba (without tempura) and the vegetarian bento box. The atmosphere is beautiful, with walls lined with Ghibli inspiration and a cozy and welcoming feel. The ingredients are very fresh, and the establishment is celiac friendly, with staff taking special care for gluten-free orders. The bentos and rice bowl options are diverse, well priced, and good serving sizes. While it can get slightly crowded, especially during peak hours, Totoro is a highly recommended destination for those who enjoy sushi and Japanese cuisine.
