“We had a wonderful dinner experience. Our cocktails were delightful and the food was delicious. Our food was delayed in the kitchen (something we barely noticed) and the manager gave us a discount on our meal to ensure we were satisfied. I’d call that going “above and beyond”. Highly recommend.“

“So far the best Japanese we've found in Ann Arbor. The food was well prepared and the portions generous for the price. The Yotsuba Bento Box was a surprising amount of food and an amazing value. The sashimi option is only 4 pieces, but they're very thick cut and large in size. The teriyaki salmon option is also a very sizable piece of fish.

The sushi we tried was tasty and service was prompt and attentive. We will definitely be returning.“

“8/16/26: Came here to eat before a live show I was attending in the area. Got the Chicken Katsu bento, which comes with miso soup, and tried the raw tuna sushi, which is my first time doing sushi. Everything was pretty good. The chicken was tender with a crispy exterior, the noodles had a nice vinegarette sauce on them, the vegetable tempura was light and crispy as well. I was not fond of the rolls. And it took a while to figure out how to eat the edamame, haha. The miso soup was excellent though, I wish it had more tofu in it. The sushi was pretty good too; not what I expected to taste like, to be honest, so I'm glad this didn't sour me on the experience.

The only sad thing is they do not serve any alcohol. I've seldom gotten to try sake, but what I have tried has been great, but since they don't have any, that kinda sucks, if you like alcohol with your dinner.

The lady server was good. It didn't seem like she spoke english, so it was a bit of a barrier there, but she did help me decide what sushi to get and how to properly eat it, which she obviously didn't have to do. But I did greatly appreciate the service =0). I don't live in the area, but I'd recommend this place based on my experience that day.“

“Sweet potato roll. That's it. It's amazing. Their other food is very good too and the staff is very sweet and attentive, but that sweet spud in sushi from is delicious and I would eat it every day if I could. Plenty of parking since it's at a strip mall and the prices are very reasonable.“

“Four of us came to this restaurant right after graduation. We were offered limited graduation menu. We ordered pretty much all meals on the menu. Drinks were good, food was OK and service was good. It was expensive and I felt like you paid for ambiance. Had heard a lot about this place but at the end it was disappointing overall“

“This is one of our favorite Japanese and sushi restaurants in the area. While we don’t go there often, we go to eat there every time we are in Ann Arbor. My favorite is the spicy tuna or salmon bowl. All ingredients are balanced with the right amount of the spicy sauce.“
