“Very good food!! If I could give 4.5 stars I would. Ethan was a great server! We started with smashed potatoes that were tasty. Then ordered fried chicken and snapper We were told they were out of both. That was upsetting because that's what we came for. Ethan came back and said they could do one chicken. Unfortunately the other guest didn't eat beef or pork. He came back and said they could do 2 chickens. So we got the chicken which was delicious. Also had Tteokbokki for the first time. It was good. Would definitely go back. One of the better meals I've had in Ann Arbor.“
“I always get Dukbokki here! I wish it was less sweet though. Kimchi Fried Rice is pretty good&big in portions but greasy. I don't really like kimchi fried rice made with butter :( Japchae comes with rice, and it was also good! My second fav.“
“Place is clean, food is really good (and you get a bang for your buck), and the banana milk slaps. Get the cuppokki. They once accidentally forgot some stuff in my friends order but they gave the food later to her for free, 10/10 in my books.“
“It has one of the best cheese steaks in Ann Arbor and the staff/owners are fantastic. Their entire menu is amazing. Izzy's was closed today and so my go-to thought was Broadway Cafe.. Soon maybe it'll be theeee default cheese steak spot in my mind haha.“
“My sister and her boyfriend introduced me to this. I’ve lived in neighboring cities and had frequently visited Ann Arbor and had never been here. Great size for cost and THE best Bop I’ve ever had. I’ve been to authentic Korean restaurants and hands down I wish I would of bought more to have the next day. Highly recommend to anyone and everyone.“
“I recently moved to Illinois from Cali and have been craving authentic korean food ever since! I got the soondoobu jiggae & spicy pork stir fry togo and they both were delicious! Despite the busy lunch hours, our food only took roughly about 10 minutes! The food was piping hot & fresh and so comforting. And to top it all off, their customer service & atmosphere was one of the best yet! As soon as I walked in the restaurant, I felt such a cozy & welcoming presence. It seemed to be a family owned restaurant and the workers were all extremely friendly! Definitely checking this place out after a long day for some of the best heart warming korean food! Especially good for solo dining, the dining seats are like a bar set up so no burden eating alone (& ofc eating in groups too)!!“
“This place is really solid. We got the beef bulgogi and bibimbap in a stone bowl. The beef was flavorful and juicy and the veggies tasted fresh. All of the side dishes that come complimentary with the meal are fantastic.Only downside is the restaurant is very small and we had to wait ~15 mins to be seated. But the staff let us order our food while we were waiting so it was ready quickly after we sat down! Parking is super easy and plentiful.Vegetarian options: Multiple vegetarian options on the menu.Parking: Plentiful and easy to access.“
“I come here often for really good and well-priced Korean food. Everything I’ve tasted has been really tasty and there are definitely a handful of dishes that are better than my mom’s shhhh. It’s a family-run business and the food and vibe really feels like you’re coming to a home cooked meal. With all great places, they fill up rather quickly so make sure you get in a little earlier to avoid longer wait times (they also don’t take reservations)“
“My adult kids and I have eaten here twice. Both times were delicious! It's a small space, so there is awkward low talking among the diners, but the kitchen and single wait staff are moving fast and our food was served within a few minutes. They have a lot of takeout being picked up. I have to assume people who gave low reviews due to rude service didn't understand that they are hopping. Friendly, but busy. No chitchat but whatever. We'll be back.“
“One of the best Korean chicken in Ann Arbor! I used to get takeout from here all the time. Their small popcorn chicken is fairly priced and has so much food that it's enough for 2 whole meals. While soy garlic is good, I recommend getting half soy garlic half spicy so that the sauces can combine together for some delicious bites. A lot of my friends also LOVE their bulgogi tacos.“
“My friend and I stopped in here 2 weeks ago on a whim. It was mostly empty, but I think that helped my experience a lot. We ordered the Combo A BBQ, which came with all the usual cold sides, salad, egg, and rice. The cold sides were amazing, especially the fish cakes and kimchi. They were the best fishcakes ever. The rose tteokbokki was also great. Our waiter and who I'm assuming is the manager even came over and flipped the meat for us occasionally, very attentive service. My only complaint is that the meat didn't have much flavor, and other KBBQ places I've been to had really good marinated meat.I would definitely go back again during slow dining times.“
“Flavortown! Budae jjigae is my favorite soup ever. I lved in Korea for 3 years, this is just as good! My wife had galbi tang and after 1 bite she pushed the soup over to me, I tasted it...almost fainted...then she stole it back and she made it disappear. I would rate higher than 5 stars if I could.“
“This used to be Seoul Street but it seems they got bought by Kimchi Box. Luckily though they still have the same amazing chicken as before! I'd like to address some of the other reviews on here as well, because while it's great to have many contributions, please keep an open mind about things. First of all, their opening time is at 12pm yes, but on average it takes them about an hour to prepare and make some of the menie items. specifically the chicken. At least that's the case when it was a Seoul Street a few months ago. Second, the boxes will probably have holes in them due to the fact that condensation in the boxes causes most of the food to go soggy and for many of their food that makes it less enjoyable. There will never be a full proof method of keeping fried or steemed items piping hot even if you live close by. We ordered food to go as well and even though it wasn't as crispy as when we first grabbed it, the flavours were still amazing. We got their drumsticks in both the soy garlic and spicy sauces, the chicken strips in soy garlic, and their steamed pork mandu. the chicken was crispy when we took a bite right when we got it and the mandu was juicy and the sauce added lots of flavor (we all took a bite in the car, that's why it doesn't look as nice. but the mandu comes in its own box with sauce)!“
“BEST SUSHI IN ANN ARBOR. service is incredibly fast--especially for the amount of workers they have at once (generally 1 or 2). the prices are SO fair and reasonable for college students. the quality of the fish is insane and everything is so delicious. just try“
“Great experience, better food! Can't say too much more than ask the other positive reviews. We will be back. Best advice is don't order too much like we did. We did combo 1 - pick four with a rice bowl added and took half of it home and it was for 3 people.“
“Food is AWESOME!!!Perfect for people who likes flavour in their food.My husband's "braised pork clear noodle" and my "spicy chicken" definitely surpassed our expectations by A LOT.⚠️ Warning: the chicken pieces still have bones, so be careful. Otherwise, it's perfect! ❤️“
“Pretty good! I had a side, main, and some kimchi—all of which was good for the price.I personally don’t know what the reviews about the wait are referring to, but I may have come at a less busy time than others. My food was ready after about twenty minutes. The man who helped me was EXTREMELY polite!!! Definitely 5/5 stars for service.“
“We did a shopping day in Ann Arbor and stopped here for lunch. The naps are so good! I had the last shorty which is made with short rib, and a mushroom one. My daughter had the chicken/apple and a pork one. All excellent. We will be back for sure. Picked up drinks at York next door, the cappuccino was very good.“
