“My sister and her boyfriend introduced me to this. I’ve lived in neighboring cities and had frequently visited Ann Arbor and had never been here. Great size for cost and THE best Bop I’ve ever had. I’ve been to authentic Korean restaurants and hands down I wish I would of bought more to have the next day. Highly recommend to anyone and everyone.“

“An Absolute Gem on South University—Taste, Heart, and Total Comfort
If you are looking for a meal that wraps around you like a warm hug, Rich JC is the place. Tucked away right on South U, this unassuming spot is a masterclass in what happens when food is made with genuine soul, care, and tradition.
From the moment you walk through the door, you are greeted by an atmosphere that feels entirely unpretentious and deeply comforting. It doesn’t try to be trendy or over-designed; instead, it offers that rare, authentic homey vibe where you instantly feel like family. It’s cozy, unhurried, and filled with the mouthwatering, savory aromas that make your stomach rumble the second you cross the threshold.
And the food? Absolutely phenomenal. You can taste the homemade love and patience poured into every single dish. Whether you're digging into a sizzling, perfectly-crusted dolsot bibimbap, slurping down a deeply comforting, piping-hot bowl of stew, or enjoying their rich, tender bulgogi, the flavor profiles are deeply comforting, balanced, and profoundly satisfying. Every bite tastes like a Sunday dinner cooked by someone who cares about your well-being.
Rich JC is more than just a restaurant; it’s an Ann Arbor institution that feeds both the belly and the soul. If you haven't been, or if you're just craving a taste of real, comforting home-cooked Korean food, do yourself a favor and go. You'll leave completely full and already planning your next visit.“

“Really good food and I like that I specify what’s halal and what’s not. I wish there were more halal items like wraps and stuff but can’t complain because the options they do have were great and the sushi was also really good as well and all fresh as well“

“A friend recommended this restaurant to me and it sounded like a fun time, after a week we went there. The inside is clean, modern and simple. You have to wait to be seated, once we sat down we were given water right away which is a wonderful way to show good service early. I ordered the spicy pork, fried rice with chicken and hot sake. Before we got our meal, we were given all different types of sauces and appetizers. Like coleslaw, broiled and seasoned broccoli, some kind of spicy fish which I really enjoyed and a very spicy sauce that looked brownish and another sauce that was bright red & black and was also a bit spicy. After making conversation and enjoying the appetizers, 10 to 15 minutes, the spicy pork was brought out on this grilling plate, sizzling and looked very appetizing and tasty. For me and my friend this was the first experience we at Seoul Garden and I was blown away, I love the service more then anything and all of the service staff deserve raises. - Jacob Anderson, thanks for the wonderful meal SG! Also thanks guys for finding my phone. 😂“
“Food was delicious and great portion size (5 stars). Would recommend more booths and less high tops. Not enough table space on high tops and also purse hooks need to be installed. Lighting kept being changed (high/low and the colors) while we were eating.“

“Bewon is a hidden gem that offers a meal and an experience of warmth, authenticity, and tradition. Located in Ann Arbor, this charming restaurant serves some of the best Korean food in Michigan, and every visit feels like being welcomed into a family home. When you enter, Mr. Jin greets you with a smile and a comforting cup of hot barley tea. The food is always fresh and mouthwatering, cooked with high-quality ingredients. Mrs. Jin goes the extra mile to ensure your experience is flawless. She checks on your table, offering banchan (side dishes) refills and ensuring you enjoy your meal. At the end of your visit, Mr. and Mrs. Jin bid you farewell with kindness, and Mrs. Jin's warm hugs make you feel like you just visited your own eomma's (mom's) kitchen. The dining area is adorned with colorful orchids by the windows, and the presence of local Korean patrons further assures you that this is the real deal for authentic Korean cuisine. Though it is a 40-minute drive from Toledo, it is worth it for the exceptional food, reasonable prices, and heartfelt hospitality. I Highly recommend it!“

“I'm so grateful for this place! Every time we've been, the food has been absolutely delicious and the service has been outstanding. I also have to mention that my family and I aren't even vegetarian, yet this has become one of our favorite lunch spots in Ann Arbor. Highly recommend!“

“A solid go-to Korean spot. I noticed they updated their menu since my last visit in early May, but the food is always good. This is a place where you won’t go wrong if you're craving Korean food. I ordered the spicy pork bento, and it was a textbook Jeyuk-bokkeum. Everything was satisfying, except for a remake because the server brought the wrong dish at first.“

“Four of us came to this restaurant right after graduation. We were offered limited graduation menu. We ordered pretty much all meals on the menu. Drinks were good, food was OK and service was good. It was expensive and I felt like you paid for ambiance. Had heard a lot about this place but at the end it was disappointing overall“

“We visited Miss Kim’s for the first time for an anniversary dinner at it was incredible. We loved all the dishes we ordered: smashed potatoes, sweet chili ribs, and crispy duck with rice. Our waitress Alexandria went above and beyond, too. We can’t wait to come back!“
