“The actual place itself seemed clean. The only reason I'm not giving a full 5 stars was due to the cleanliness of plates. They're incredibly sticky and don't seem like they've been properly washed through an industrial dishwasher (my plate had food on it still). Service was relatively fast but nobody checked back in again after we placed our order. Although, our entire order did come out in about 7 minutes. The food overall was definitely phenomenal. My boyfriend and I came here due to reading reviews on Yelp. The Chicken Yaki udon noodles were incredibly flavorful. The portion was definitely worth the $15. The vegetables were cooked just enough that it wasn't too soft, but still had a slight crunch when biting into the dish. The Michigan Roll was a 6/10. We were thrown by the small slice of lemon that was on top. Whenever we picked a piece up, the roll would fall apart so it wasn't properly wrapped. The Cobra Roll was by far our favorite. It had the perfect amount of soft shell crab with eel, avocado, and crab salad. The sauce that was drizzled on top paired with it perfectly. Take some ginger and also let it all melt in your mouth.“
“Really nice folks and beautiful interesting interior. Been on my list opening 4 months ago. Ordered Pupu Platter, Chinese Scallion Pancakes, Large Chinese Veggies Soup and Chicken Egg Foo Young. Surprised when eating inside no plates or silverware. Everything brought out in to go containers that's okay. Absolutely fantastic Delicious Scallion Pancakes not found in many places. The quart of Spot packed full was good except broth zero flavor like water. Chicken Egg Foo Young nothing like ever had weird crunchy patties with very small amount of gravy. The very good Rice and a mega amount. Egg Roll spot on Wonderful. The bad absolutely worse ever Pupu Platter Chicken Wings dry, Crab Rangoon Yuk, Shrimp heavy batter couldn't taste Shrimp. Ribs just ok, Spring Rolls a winner and what they call Teriyaki Beef I know as Balamaki was great. I'm willing to give them another chance to change my 3 star rating. Great effort by cook just not up to par with dozen other Chinese restaurants in the area.“
“A hidden gem. Wait staff very attentive, sweet and pretty. Food very nicely presented and VERY delicious. Has a very wide variety to chose from. We USED to have a favorite place for sushi....but it has been replaced. I highly recommend that you give SUSHI House a shot...you will not be disappointed.Vegetarian options: There is a whole section of options that I tried.“
“Took wife for a late Birthday celebration. Front of house host were "meh". Not very welcoming to us or others that I observed as well. Our server was decent. Other servers were vibrant and engaged with their tables. Being that my wife handed her a printout for her birthday, she didn't receive it nor anything else that may have pertained to the simple fact that this dinner was her celebration.Will we return? Possibly. If so, no time too soon.“
“Outstanding Sushi: Expertly prepared and delicious, Nami Sushi serves some of the best sushi I've had in the US. The eel avacado roll, a requested variation of their eel cucumber roll, was the tastiest I've had anywhere in 5+ years, maybe ever. If you haven't tried the Omusubi, make sure to order one of these finely crafted triangular pockets of rice with yummy fillings. Or enjoy one of their fresh Donburi Bowls. Everything we've had has been good. The owners are nice and aim to please. I don't normally eat at food trucks or trailers, but this is my one no-brainer exception. A+.“
“0 out of 5 did not have a good experience it was a long piece of hair in my food and they only took 2 dollars off i was disgusted after eating the majority or my food couldn’t finish and the manager response is this isnt our hair the hair was longgggg and curly i have braids the waiter was really nice but the manager wasnt he even brought the plate back to the table with the hair“
“The food is fantastic. But even better was the owner and her son. So pleasant and genuinely kind.. it was a breath of fresh air when all it seems to be is negativity around lately. I am so glad I went for a pick me up of some sushi the other night because the interaction with them was a pick me up in itself. The food being perfect was a bonus “

“Amazing itamae who has been adding new items to the menu here! Best hidden gem in the area. Take out only here but that works well for us. Sushi is always fresh and delicious! Baked Crab Roll which is new is amazing. Dragon Roll, Shrimp Tempura roll and Salmon Roll are just some of our favorites. The have good Edamame now as a side as well. ❤️???❤️“
“My sister and I had a 5pm reservation but the people at our table were taking quite a while to leave. The Manager and Madison our waitress were so very kind. They had us sit at the juice bar and enjoy a free drink and appetizer while we waited. Madison took great care of us and our cook was really good. The food was so delicious. It was my birthday and I truly enjoyed the whole experience. We'll be back and definitely recommend our friends and family try this great new restaurant.“
“I’m not in this area much but I would absolutely come back here. I would put them up against Benihana any day. The food was fresh and the wait was about 20 minutes because of how popular it was. Many people called their order in and picked up, but we walked in. There are 4 tables that seat 4 people, and they were nicely spaced out.“
“Looking for a Chinese food place and ended up finding this gem.Hibachi, sushi, Chinese. It’s great for the price, close and they seem to do allot of Togo orders.We ordered the bento box, bang bang chicken, Alaskan roll, the steak and lobster hibachi, gyoza, spring roll, and a crunchy crab roll.And they give you good sized portions.Everything tasted great, food was tender and flavorful.The wait staff are super friendly and cute.Will definitely be coming back. “I love this place!!!!! if you want some pretty legit casual japanese AND Korean food.... this place is fantastic! the staff/ownership are super nice, the food is real, what more could you ask for? had the takoyaki today and holy moly was that awesome. tempura avacado with honey is delicious. bibimbap in the hot stone bowl is top notch. katsu curry rules. obviously their sushi is well made sushi. but there's so much more to this place than sushi. the wife enjoys the chicken fried rice. I always go in craving sushi and end up getting more. I've been going here since it opened.“
“We have been going to Sumo Japanese Grill since they have opened in Livonia about 4 years ago. The food is great, prices very reasonable and the staff are very welcoming! You get a lot of quality food for you buck. Would recommend 100% of the time.“
“My daughter and I wanted some sushi for dinner and we found this nice sushi restaurant not far from our house. The selection of sushi was good and the service was great. Folks were very attentive when serving us. Prices were not bad at all. I had the rock and roll sushi and my daughter had the California rolls. We also enjoyed looking at the fishes they have in an actual pond in the restaurant. Highly recommended and we are definitely coming back.“

“Parking: Location is in a mini strip, on busier days and times, the parking lot is quite full. However, on average, it is not difficult to find parking. Plus, if you don't mind walking, you can park on the side street next to the restaurant.“

“I've been going here since 2017, and I could honestly say that the sushi is consistently of the highest quality. I've become well-acquainted with the staff members over the years, and they're undeniably hardworking yet can be personable during the slower hours. I'm a POC, and have dealt with issues of racism from other fine dining restaurants in the area-- but their service has always made me feel extremely welcome. The menu items are on the higher end, but the service, food, and cleanliness of the restaurant make every experience worth it. This is the perfect place to go on first dates, birthdays, anniversaries, and family events. I cannot stress enough that you MUST try this place!!“
