“It's nice to have a place where I can get a grain bowl or salad without having to mess with going downtown. They have a nice variety of options and the serving size was perfect - it kept me going all afternoon! The customer service is great too. Mohammed was really welcoming and patient! Looking forward to coming here again.Vegetarian options: Many of the bowls include chicken, but it would be easy enough to make the bowl vegetarian/vegan by asking them to leave the meat out. I noticed chickpeas, edamame, and falafel as non-meat protein options.“
“Amazing experience for my wife and I. Very generous and warming people with an eclectic and very beautifully tribal atmosphere. Yousef and his two parents were such a pleasure to meet. Very sweet people, and very tasty food. Will be back inshallah????“
“The food here is so yummy, flavorful, and delicious. Spiedo's entire concept (from the food, to the interior, to the 'graphic design is my passion'-esque posts on social media) is unapologetically vibrant. Please check out their IG; the design of their promotional posters are so avant-garde, it might send my graphic design professor into an aneurism. I went here for lunch and got the Zhoug Knight wrap. It was beyond flavorful. The interior is vibrant and intimate. Service was also great. Spiedo just might be my favorite Mediterranean spot in Ann Arbor. Can't wait to come back.“
“The owner is always very nice whenever we come in and the food is always amazing! Mint lemonade is so fresh and is amazing. The mango habenero sauce is awesome as well. Overall, always a good time coming into this restaurantVegetarian options: Spinach and feta quesadilla“
“Authentic, flavorful and fresh food! Their hummus is some of my favorite in the area. The ginger hummus and fulful (spicy) hummus are always packed with flavor! I love their falafel wraps and stuffed grape leaves, and their chicken tawook is tender and so tasty. You can’t go wrong with anything on their menu!“
“I’d say to get takeout from here, since the dine in experience is a bit lacking but its fine. The fattoush salad is realllly good. I got the kafta too, was alright. I would say its a little dry but I did not eat it immediately. I honestly do not judge for not having stellar lamb, its hard to find. The service was quick and friendly. I’d definitely come back and their prices are extremely fair.“
“The most delicious & authentic falafel I have ever tasted in my LIFE (and I have been trying to find falafel like this in Michigan for 11 years now)We ordered last minute catering for a 100+ person event and Haifa Falafel was able to fulfill the order on time (extremely impressive) and everyone at the event went back for thirds and took food home with them. It was my first time ordering from here and was hesitant at first to place such a big catering order, but was pleasantly surprised and will now be a regular customer along with all the other event attendees :) so so happy with my order, the quality of the food, and the service!“
“Old school neighborhood diner on the east side of Ann Arbor. Achilles has become my go to place for breakfast in my brief time residing in Ann Arbor. The Servers are exceptional! Hopefully the owner permits staff to give me their wifi password one day.“
“I tried your restaurant for the first time today. I ordered a large Greek salad with gyro meat to go. It was great! However I thought it would have been served with pita bread. I double checked the menu and it should have. I understand things happen but you have no email or messaging to share this shortcoming with you. So I’m just sharing it here. I guess I should have checked my order before leaving. Thanks“
“At the owner’s recommendation I had a lamb sandwich, which was delicious—super flavorful and had a nice heat/spiciness to it (which can be hard to find around here sometimes!). The owner is friendly and has an interesting story. Overall fantastic value (the price makes it possible to tip well :) ) I’ll definitely be back and look forward to trying other things on the menu!“
“Fairly small place but when I went it wasn't very busy at all. Staff were pretty friendly, food was delicious and incredibly affordable and service was quick. Location is also easy to get to with sufficient parking. Looked fairly clean inside from what I could tell. I think this may become a regular lunch spot in Ann Arbor for me.Vegetarian options: Falafel or veggie as fillings as well as hummus, rice, salads, etc.Dietary restrictions: They have gluten free options as well .Parking: Lots of parking in main lot as well as next to Trader Joe'sWheelchair accessibility: Sidewalk are low with entry onto sidewalk from handicap parking spaces. Lip to door is fairly level and interior has enough space to navigate, only area that may pose issues would be opening the front door.“
“I’m a Director for a nonprofit organization and I cater from this specific location for all my events. The feedback that I get from my guests are that it taste amazing, it’s very well put together, clean and is wow!! Also I can’t say enough about the customer service that I receive from the staff there. Thank you for the amazing work you do .“
“I had the Chicken Shawarma Bowl and really enjoyed it. The rest of my family had Chicken Shawarmas and also said they liked them. Baklava was pretty dry, whereas I am used to more honey/sticky baklava. Otherwise, I will definitely go back and get another bowl. Environment was clean and employees friendly/helpful.“
“This was a follow up visit provided kindly by the owner after a previously rough experience. Much appreciated the commitment to your customers. This was a completely different and positive experience. Food, service and ambiance were wonderful. Thanks for giving us a reason to return. We will be back soon.“
“Start to finish, this meal was awesome.First, we were very warmly welcomed, and seated right away. The service was fabulous, with great recommendations. The food was very flavorful and cooked perfectly. The bacon wrapped dates were a surprisingly delicious flavor combo. We got the lamb shank and the salmon for entrees, both awesome. Dessert (rice pudding) was amazing as well. Love that its family owned. This place has been hiding from me! We will be back in the very near future.“
“I ordered the Lamb Kafka Burger and that is THE MOST DELICIOUS thing I have ever eaten. The bread was INCREDIBLE the burger patty was AMAZING. I might be spoiled forever now. No burger will be better than this! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Highly Recommend!“
“This place was amazing from start to finish! The restaurant itself is beautiful and well furnished, the food is delicious and comes out promptly, and the service is spectacular! I visited with my husband not knowing what to expect and was blown away.I got the Palm shish kafta with Moroccan soup. First off, we were provided with a sizeable portion of bread and garlic spread, which we had to pace ourselves on since it was so tasty and we wanted to enjoy our main courses to their fullest. Then the soups and mains came out promptly- they were spiced excellently and the meat was tender and plentiful. Our server Hoda was the best! She came around frequently to refill drinks and check up on us, plus she was super personable. When chatting with her, my husband mentioned how we were in town for his birthday, and at the end of our meal she provided us with some baklava on the house. That was such a nice touch; her service made this an awesome and super memorable experience. We will definitely be back!“
