Socotra is truly one of my favorite cafes in Michigan. The atmosphere is warm, welcoming, and perfect whether you’re meeting up with friends, getting some work done, or just looking for a relaxing place to enjoy a coffee.

Here for a visit - the mocha and chai were both incredible. We had to stop by again on our way back!

Socotra Coffee House offers a fantastic selection of Middle Eastern tea and coffee-based beverages, including the delightful Yemeno Tea and an amazing chai style tea. Their Pistachio pastry and Honeycomb dessert are highlights, along with other sweet treats. The atmosphere is laid-back and friendly, with beautiful photos of Yemen and a mural adding to the ambiance. The outside has beautiful flowers and the inside is spotless. The coffee is a popular choice, with customers appreciating the Mofawar coffee and fabulous cappuccinos that are strong and not filled with milk. The flavor will ruin coffee from anywhere else. The setting is welcoming, with a clean space and limited noise. The staff are very congenial and friendly. The location is tucked away in a quiet strip mall, offering convenient parking. Note that prices may be on the higher side. This has replaced many customers' first choice for coffee.
