“I traveled 40 minutes because I was craving pupusas and I was not disappointed! Not only was the food incredible, Sylvia is such a kind hearted, sweet and amazing person. Do yourself a favor and stop in here, get a few pupusas and the horchata drink. It truly tastes like I’m back in El Salvador and I couldn’t be more satisfied.“
“Just randomly walking down main street on a beautiful Friday and I smell empanadas. I did not know this place existed. Then I'm told they have limited hours. It is more of a pop-up. Someone selling delicious empanadas out of what looks like a tech start up firm. Not a sit down, there is a window you can order from and sit outside. A little quirky, but the empanadas were worth coming back to.“
“Great food and great service and nice atmosphere! A nice spot to hangout/eat in Ann Arbor with many delicious options especially the brisket. Staff is friendly and super helpful. Very nice decor and environment creating a warm vibe.. Would definitely come back“
“We had lunch here on a Saturday at around 2pm. We were seated right away as there was not too many people there that day. I was impressed by the variety of taco style options. My favorite was the barbacoa. However, I felt that for the taste, $5-6 for one taco was too pricey. Also wasn’t impressed by the atmosphere in the building, as tables are packed together and it’s quite crowded. Outdoor seating may be a better option, when it’s nicer out. The raspberry mint lemonade was great. Overall, a good lunch option in AA.Wheelchair accessibility: Probably not wheelchair friendly due to small aisle spaces. If you’re not eating outside, you won’t be able to navigate the inside of the building.“
“so bloody good. had the honduran breakfast here. not sure what they put in their beans but i could eat it by the ladle-ful. the plantains too. perfection. such a good breakfast plate, with good portions - did not have to take any leftovers with me and was full by the end of the meal.“
“This place is mind-blowing! So authentic. The food was fantastic in a way I don't even have words for! The food was flavorful, and delicious. The yucca root fries were so amazing! Crisp on the outside, melt-in-your-mouth soft on the inside. The Salvadoran Horchata was the perfect amount of sweet and spices. The pupusas were exquisite. Everything I had was stellar.I can't wait to get back there!Service was wonderful, too. All the staff were smiling, happy and so kind!I'm going to bring everyone I know here.“
“This food is amazing. Best plantains in town. I love the specials, special Imperial Rice, and also the milkshakes. The dinners and even sandwiches are quality and also generous portions, enough for two meals for a robust adult. Milk shakes are also delicious. Typically, the place has very few people at a time, which is shocking given how excellent it is.“
“This is the best Latin food outside of a cookout you will find in Ann arbor. I mean that from the bottom of my heart. Not only is it amazing but it is consistent the first day me and my wife got it. We had to go back the next day. And it was just as good. They have great vegetarian options and the staff is super friendly. I also love the periodical music that's live in the next room. Whether to go or in-house with a beer, you cannot go wrong. I've lived here my whole life and I've never tasted Latin food this good. Why are you still reading this? You should be ordering online right now. Go trust me. Thank me later“
