“Very good food!! If I could give 4.5 stars I would. Ethan was a great server! We started with smashed potatoes that were tasty. Then ordered fried chicken and snapper We were told they were out of both. That was upsetting because that's what we came for. Ethan came back and said they could do one chicken. Unfortunately the other guest didn't eat beef or pork. He came back and said they could do 2 chickens. So we got the chicken which was delicious. Also had Tteokbokki for the first time. It was good. Would definitely go back. One of the better meals I've had in Ann Arbor.“

“Aventura has been on our list for a while, I’m so glad we finally made a reservation! The food was absolutely delicious, and wonderful customer service. We sat at the bar, and everyone that we encountered was so friendly, they took great care of us. Our favorites were Milhojas Bravas (potato pave with garlic aioli), Datiles con Chorizo (bacon wrapped chorizo stuffed dates), and Setas a la Planxa (seared wild mushrooms). They brought “birthday churros” for my husband, they were also fantastic! Can’t wait to go back and try more of the menu items!“

“Hidden gem in Ann Arbor! We held our Holiday Party here and it was a huge success. Loved the venue, craft cocktails, and the food was great. As the Rabbit Hole suggests, it is on the lower level and has many different pockets (“burrows”) like a rabbit hole. There was plenty of room for everyone and plenty of seating. Would definitely recommend!!!“

“Kind of a sleeper spot on State St! My husband and I didn't have a dinner reservation on a busy Thursday evening, and most restaurants we walked past on Liberty looked to be full with people waiting. We turned the corner on State and walked past Red Hawk, which looked to have plenty of capacity for walk ins. We went in and were seated right away. Right off the bat, I liked the look and feel of the interior! Cool bar, warm and modern. It does smell a bit like beer, but I don't mind that. We got a couple of apps and an entree to share family style. I also got a Bell's Two Hearted on tap, which you can never really go wrong with. Beer was nice and cold. - Beijing Duck Quesadilla with Mango Salsa. Loved this! It is really nothing like Beijing duck wraps haha, but nevertheless, the quesadilla is meaty and cheesy and the salsa adds the perfect brightness and some acidity (think it's mango and pickled onion). - Chicken Wings. It's listed on the menu as crispy and spicy. It was definitely crispy with a thick fried batter, but not spicy. Served with ranch and blue cheese. I enjoyed! It's not my husband's favorite style of chicken wing, but I like the crunchy crispy layer. The ranch was thick and seemed house made. - Traditional Red Hawk burger (cheddar, lettuce, tomato, red onion, dill pickle) with steak fries. This was a good burger! The veggies were fresh and crisp, and the burger juicy. Steak fries were done nicely. I dipped both in ketchup. We definitely left full and happy. One word of caution though (and why I took a star off) - the food is sodium heavy (I mean, especially with our choice of order so partly on us). But I actually woke up several times over night just super super thirsty. So maybe hydrate better than I did or order healthier items to balance things out a little better haha.“
