Recently visited for the last time. We got the deep fried French toast and huevos rancheros. Both were fabulous. I will miss Angelo’s greatly when it closes. So many great memories.

Food was good. We sat outside, weather was perfect. Enjoyed our time with friends.

Even with a packed house, they got us in fairly quickly and were immediately attentive. The environment feels like a classic diner, almost film-set-esque in its charm, and the whole staff was on the move keeping up with the crowd. We ordered the Turkey Club, Chili, Egg Breakfast and Sourdough toast, and when I tell you it was the perfect diner meal: I mean even the Potatoes were exceptionally cooked and the bacon was the exact right amount of crispy. We enjoyed every bite and our service was awesome, I hope to come back here and try more as soon as I can!

Worst breakfast. The potato’s were so burnt past point of being edible. The waitress didn’t know what was wrong with the foods when I complained. I guess they don’t care anymore since they are closing the restaurant soon.

Angelo’s is an Ann Arbor classic — which makes it SO MUCH MORE SAD that they’re closing down later this year (12/23). I’ve been coming here for 4+ years at this point, and I’ve never been disappointed. The breakfast is great — I love their banana walnut pancakes, their raisin bread, their corn beef hash and their seasonal specials — and the price is unbeatable for AA! Plus, you always get SO. MUCH. FOOD. The atmosphere is so DINER and so FAMILY. Will miss this so much.

So glad we made it in here before they close in December! After going, you can definitely tell why this is a quintessential Ann Arbor spot. The food was delicious (especially the Raisin Toast!!).

Cute little diner on the University of Michigan campus that has very friendly service and good eats. Our server always splits out chocolate espresso milkshake into two glasses and has a huge smile every time she interacts with us. Corned beef hash and the Angelo's Special Breakfast are the staples we go with. Sad to hear it will be closing soon.

Very slow service, they were under staffed, standard fare, but excellent homemade bread. Thin coffee. Probably won't go back.

Heard about this place from friends and always wanted to try it. When I heard it is closing towards the end of the year I decided it was time to go. Food is very good with generous portions and reasonably priced and the staff is very nice. I will definitely return.I went at lunch time on a Friday so it was busy and noisy. The place is very popular.Be advised parking can be a challenge on weekdays but on weekends the parking structures nearby are free.

Parking: The parking behind he restaurant can only hold about 12-15 cars, I think. But there is plenty of free parking on weekends.

Fresh food. Huge, delicious portions. Fast, friendly service. This is on UM campus. The bread was amazing. We sat at the counter and everything that was came out of the kitchen looked amazing.

Service was lightning fast, and both my brother and I really enjoyed our food. I think I'd get the regular French toast over the fried next time just because the latter is just so dense and filling, but it was very unique.

Fast & friendly service, great food, nostalgic atmosphere! A must visit if you’re in Ann Arbor! The farmer’s omelet was impossible for me to finish. The corned beef hash was really sizable as well. Chocolate shake was delicious too ?

Angelo's is just the best breakfast in Ann Arbor. I won't be swayed. It's a favorite of hospital and med school employees going back decades. Their in-house bakery makes amazing fresh bread. You should try anything "Benedict" on their menu once in your life. The smoked salmon is my go-to. The same waitstaff has been taking care of customers for years and they know all about everything involved. It's cozy and perfect just the way it is.

Tough to find Sunday breakfast after an ice storm and power outage. A few clicks on the net and found Angelo's. The exterior had a classic neuvo sense to it. The wait was about 15 minutes. Took a seat at the counter. It took me back to a classic NYC greasy spoon where the staff had lots of personality. Like the TV show: Mel's Diner and Flo's classic line : "Kiss my grits!". I had blueberry pancakes and bacon. Average breakfast and service. College kids probably really enjoy this spot.

12 starsBest breakfast place I have experienced so far in AA. Diner-feel and fantastic service (our server was Sparkles this morning). This place was very clean, food came out quick and was delicious. It’s very clear these guys work well as a team and they’ve certainly earned a return customer in me!
