Anthony's Gourmet Pizza Reviews
Do not trust ordering or eating from this restaurant. Not only is the food bland, lacks of flavor, and the portion size is extremely small for the price you're paying for it. Also they will cancel your order after it being prepared for 45 minutes, then remake the order without your consent leading up to 2 hours of still no food but will still charge you in full. No communication what so ever. Not a well run restaurant and will never order here again.
went to the one in pompano. Ordered the meatball and long pepper sandwich lunch special for $9.99. it was 1 meatball on foccia bread. I called the server and told her I think they forgot the meatballs. she confirmed with me that the lunch special only has 1 meatball on it. the sliced it super thin. it was horrible
Within two seconds of walking into the restaurant I observed the person handling all the food trays and pizza rubbing his face in his nose with his ungloved hand then proceeding to touch everybody’s trays and food without washing his hands. That’s something I don’t want to see when I walk into the restaurant, especially when everybody’s sick this time of year he had a glove on one hand, but not the hand he was using to touch and rub everything.

Anthony's Gourmet Pizza offers a variety of pizza styles, including Chicago and New York styles. The Chicago deep-dish pizza is a standout, with a light and perfectly cooked crust, generous amounts of fresh mozzarella, and flavorful sauce. The New York style pizza has also received high praise, being called the "best pizza I've ever had." The restaurant also offers an antipasto salad and basic toppings such as pepperoni, sausage, mushrooms, and green peppers. While indoor seating is limited, there is outdoor dining available in the summer. The drink selection is basic, with bottled water, Coke, and some flavored sparkling water. The pizza sizes are large and can feed several people. Some customers find the deep-dish pizza to be a bit expensive. Many reviews highlight the consistently good pizza, with some mentioning that a slice of Anthony deep dish or a small NY style pizza is very good. The salads are large, with one customer noting their wife could only eat half. The restaurant also offers meatballs with cheese, which received positive feedback. Customers frequently praise the friendly and smiling staff, creating a welcoming atmosphere. Delivery is available, and the service is consistently great. The desserts are a standout feature, often described as delicious. Overall, Anthony's Gourmet Pizza is a popular spot for takeout and outdoor dining, with a reputation for tasty pizza and friendly service.
