This is the best Chinese restaurant in town. It tastes authentic and the service is incredibly kind and fast! Amazing food. The place can be quiet but it can also be lively. I love coming here in the winter, it always gives the best comfort food.

This is our go-to in town for family style Chinese food. They are fast and have very good food. Our kids love the bubble tea also. It's an easy walk when you're downtown. As a vegetarian, I had plenty of options.

I used to visit this place a lot when I was a student at the University of Michigan. It had always been one of my go-to spots. However, after being away for a few years, we went back a few weeks ago—and honestly, it was quite disappointing.
The food quality has noticeably declined, prices have gone up significantly, and the portions are much smaller. I could barely find any oyster in the oyster pancake, which used to be my favorite Taiwanese dish there.
But the worst part was the service. It was a rainy day, and we had our baby in a stroller. The stroller accidentally made their pet a little dirty, and the male owner spoke to us in a very rude and unfriendly tone, blaming us as if we did it on purpose. We were shocked, especially since we were customers.
Sadly, this experience has completely changed how I feel about this place. We won’t be going back.

Haven't been here for years, and was really disappointed to visit Asian Legend by myself yesterday. It's the same couple running this place with same tables and chairs that I am familiar with, but the service from the lady (the boss) got so much worse. Also, she added tip charge to my receipt without telling me about it at all. This is illegal practice and I was just by myself. The food also got more expensive for LESSER quality, but I wasn't expecting the best food in town to begin with and it never was. I saw both the husband and the wife that day and they both appeared impatient, stressed, and certainly don't enjoy their jobs or the customers there. Years ago, they used to be much nicer and even had some fun chats with customers from time to time. Not anymore. I guess it pains to approach retirement age and realize there isn't enough in the bank account, and the pandemic must have hit them hard. I did not have a good experience yesterday and have no reason to re-visit this place again, but wish them well.

Take care.Food is good, but older staff tend to a bit lack of good attitude and service. One of them even blamed me just because I did something very casual that some how annoyed her. Even blamed me for forgetting to take the receipt to the counter.
