Sad to see this place close. My BF and I enjoyed riding our bikes there for brunch on a nice day.

A home away from home! There's always something to do here.

The upstairs bar was great. Nice bartender and good drinks. Below is for a previous visit to the cafe on the 1st floor. Cafe: 0-1 Star... Go here if you want a bad experience. Run very poorly. Waited 25 minutes before a server came and then only gave water until another 10 mins when asking for drink order. Then by that time of not having a menu we looked at the menu on Yelp. Server took our order while we had no menu and read off Yelp menu. Of course they weren't serving the whole menu so one got rejected. The plate we were able to order came early and was still cold and tasted nasty. Then 20 after finishing one entree for one person, the rest finally came and was just as bad. Meanwhile there were 4 people behind the bar doing pretty much nothing. Such a bad experience.

It breaks my heart to write this review. Have been coming nearly every weekend for 10 years. Staff is wonderful, environment is charming, location is excellent. New management is unfortunately ruining everything else. Menu changes and poor ingredients have changed the experience. Please new owners if you’re reading this it’s not too late. No changes had to be made to this beautiful perfect restaurant. If you’re trying to improve the bottom line the answer is ALWAYS to increase the price not to cheapen the product. Please give us back our Aut Bar that we know and love. Reach out to me if you have any questions - Jesse Kane

The steak with crab last night was so good! The sauce put us over the top. Loved the mashed potatoes and greens that went with it. Thanks for the recommendation, it was perfect comfort food. Please do it again.

little small, but you know what the atmosphere is amazing and I appreciate the people that go, bring back the fire pit

I am utterly disappointed in this bar. The food tasted like cheap dollar store food, the place looks like it hasn't been cleaned in decades. I felt like I needed to shower after leaving this establishment. As a member of the queer community, I'm very appalled that this is even considered a gay bar. The food made my girlfriend and I sick to our stomachs. It was our first time there and honestly it's the worst restaurant I've EVER been to. The only reason it deserves a one star is because the server was nice. The bathroom was disgusting. Looks like you'll catch chlamydia.

Brunch at this place has taken a nosedive. The menu used to be perfectly fine before. Now they have a new menu with a lot fewer options, and not nearly as good. Really disappointing!

Great place! The best time out I’ve had In Ann Arbor! Wonderful staff and just can’t say enough good things! Enjoyed the pride after party and am completely happy. I actually think the LGBTQ community is the best part of Ann Arbor! ?❤️??

Came here for brunch last weekend, looking for something close to the farmers market and yummy (I can't resist Mexican). The positives - This place has the most adorable little patio/outdoor dining area. There's a colorful garland/paper stream that runs across the area that makes the space festive and fun (like those string lights, but pretty colored pieces of paper. I realize I'm explaining this poorly). In addition, the service was excellent, and I'm always about supporting the LGBT community. However, I come to brunch for the food. And the food, while good, was not impressive....I ordered chilaquiles, my go-to, and was disappointed by the lack of flavor from my order. I chalked it up to just not being their best dish, but when I tried my boyfriend's breakfast burrito, it was just as lacking. Surprisingly, the refried beans that our orders came with were the most flavorful part of our meal. Again, the food wasn't bad, but it definitely wasn't good, and wasn't worth venturing out for brunch. I'll be back to try drinks on the patio before it gets cold, but don't put me down for a reservation anytime soon.

Love the Braun Court Eggs! Pair it with a mimosa and a side of bacon.

I don't know about this place, I still don't. I came here after getting a tattoo for a quick snack in Kerrytown. Let me start by saying the outdoor patio was great and the server I had was so sweet and so lovely. What I don't love about this place is their food. I got the white bean hummus and the charcuterie board, both of which I thought were priced a little high and but when the food came out I was frustrated because I expected more. The charcuterie board had so little on it and it was mainly just spreads. Then hummus I thought was decent, but definitely not the best I've had. I've heard so many good reviews about this place I was expecting a lot, so I just left disappointed.
