The food itself was good. My server was one of the worst servers i’ve ever had. Blonde guy. Came up, cut off my hello and walked away as he took my drink order. The drink came back and was grey and discolored, tastes sour. He says that the drink is normal. Food came out with modifications I didn’t ask for. Brought out the check with my food. Awful experience but usually a good place.

Food is fantastic. A modern menu with items from avocado toast to brioche French toast to biscuits and mushroom gravy. Everything was flavorful, filling, and well priced.A few varied flavored coffee drinks on the menu. The matcha latte was very matcha flavored. Brunch appropriate cocktails were available.Serving staff were happy to let us stay and chat after we'd finished our meal (but it wasn't the heart of the brunch rush.)Parking: Street and parking structures free on Sundays.

My favorite brunch spot in town. The food is always fantastic, and when I've had a chance to enjoy them, the cocktails have been outstanding as well.

Warm and fuzzy ambiance. Love the color scheme in here and music choice and volume. Such a cozy feel, especially during the winter! Scone was good, nothing extraordinary tho. Worker was super nice as well :)

Stopped in fro breakfast and had the Avalon hash and eggs. Had some chorizo added to spice it up a little and enjoyed a nice tall glass of orange juice. Our server Jennifer was pleasant and took great care of us. The rest of the menu looked good as well and will have to try lunch one of these days when back in town
Went there on a Monday for brunch with college kids. Table of 6. Tomato soup was good but not hot. Felt like it had been sitting for awhile in the back. My wife's toast with home made Nutella type spread was cool. Not warm at all. Salads that the kids got were better. Service was ok. Not bad but not wonderful. Very average place IMHO.

I love Avalon! This is a lovely place for a brunch date. The portions are generous, and the food is always solid! The cinnamon sticky bun is a must!

The kitchen was open for an earlier lunch prior to many restaurants in the area. The selections were interesting and satisfying. Side dishes which supplied the main meal and then chocolate pancakes for dessert. They were a little too sweet for me to eat as a main course but I'm sure others would enjoy it. And of course they have a great maple syrup which makes a huge difference when you're having pancakes. It's easy to see why this restaurant was crowded even at 11:00 a.m.Vegetarian options: Vegetarian and vegan options are available and the selection is wide enough and very enough to keep most people satisfied.
