Great food and consistently high quality. Everything tastes very fresh and you can tell the ingredients are top-notch. I tried their new beef noodle soup and it was very authentic. The hand-pulled noodles were perfectly chewy and tasted freshly made. Our family favorites are the pork buns and chicken buns, we get them every time. The shumai is also delicious. Highly recommend Bao Space!

Visiting Ann Arbor and have been to a number of local restaurants. This place is my favorite so far. Incredible food at fair prices for the area. The Berkshire bao and chili oil wanton soup were excellent. Quick service as well. Would absolutely visit again. Relatively limited indoor seating but wasn't full when I went.

Tried the braised beef noodle and it was outstanding! Rich broth, tender beef, and really satisfying overall. Easily one of the best bowls I've had.

Delicious! Great service & good price!
The cashier/server/cook was pleasant and patient. My complaint is solely food related.
Might have been the time of day but the bao was not as fresh as I would have hoped. The texture of the buns were soft but had a tightness to the texture that I haven’t experienced anywhere else.. They sit in that steamer cage so it’s expected.
We had a big order for the purpose of having leftovers.
The fried rice tasted more like cooked rice with soy sauce added. Not much flavor past that point.
The fillings for the buns were mid. The shrimp one was a little fishy. Maybe that was intentional but I’m not a fan.

Speaking as someone from China, I’d say the food was just average — maybe a 4 if I were a foreigner. The rice was a bit hard and the baozi weren’t to my taste, though the chili oil was very authentic. It’s convenient that you can place your order by yourself, but you’ll also need to clean up by yourself afterwards.
