I really want to like this place since it’s convenient. However there are better food options around. We’ll try a few other things on the menu and try again. Decent just not as good as other places.

This place is bittersweet for me because I adored the restaurant that was here before it. However, it was replaced by something great, so I can't be too sad! Food is wonderful - the lunch special is a fantastic deal and the portions for the noodle/rice dishes are HUGE, so worth the money! I loooove the momos and chai as well.

We enjoyed chicken tikka masala, a lunch special/combo, samosas, along with mango lassis. The wallpaper of Mt Everest and the nearby mountain range was inspiring and explained the name of the restaurant: it’s a view from base camp where the mountain climbers leave from. We highly recommend this restaurant.

Amazing food. Prepare to eat too much lol
This was my third time dining here. it is a simple and lovely place. I ordered the soup Momo for appetizer fully knowing that I was going to be full if I had the whole thing and at the same time, I wanted to try additional dishes since it’s a long drive for me to get here from home. The soup Momo was phenomenal and I highly recommend it to anyone. I ordered the medium spice level and I could’ve totally gone up to medium plus. I give this soup Momo an A+++! Then came the tea which I ordered, because it was so cold outside. But having made Indian tea most of my life, I found this one to be far too milky and could have been a bit stronger. I also ordered the lunch special with chicken Makhani. The meal also came with a cauliflower potato, subzi, dal curry, and a desert of rice Kheer, on with an accompaniment of rice and naan. I could tell that the naan was not freshly made in house. It was store-bought. The chicken and the daal tasted decent.

The food here is tasty, and the lunch specials are a great deal. The heat levels a slightly higher than typical for Americanized food but not too bad. The service is quick and polite.

As always, we had a great experience at Base Camp. We love the food and the service is quick and friendly. While we eat, we sit and marvel at the wonderful flavors of this amazing food. We also love the location—we are in Dexter so it is close and easy for us to get there. Highly recommend.
