Food is excellent and staff is wonderful. Best place to eat on the West side of Ann Arbor.
Base Camp has great food and service. I only wish it had a cozier atmosphere.
Staff was totally rude. I got stuck in Myers and was 25 minutes late to pick up my order. I could’ve left it there as it hadn’t been paid for. The checkout person yelled at me for being late and carried on about it. When I complain to the owner, he laughed. There’s a similar lovely restaurant over by target in Ann Arbor, called Everst Sherpa. I suggest you go there.
What a fantastic find! The family was in town for my sister's memorial service. This place was maybe 2 miles from her house, and my niece recommended it. We are all adventurous eaters, and thank goodness! We went in with 8 of us, were seated promptly, had incredible service, and the food! OMG, the food! So delicious, so much flavor. We all ordered a variety of dishes, so we were able to taste several items. I ordered samosas, and naan. I don't even remember the names of what everyone else ordered, and I think that you can't go wrong with anything. We talked about this place for the rest of the weekend. This is one of the best meals I've had in a while, and I live in Orlando, a true foodie haven.
Great food. Polite and prompt service.
Beautiful story and atmosphere! This is a wonderful find with delicious, authentic food. I couldn’t recommend more. The staff are incredibly friendly, the food came quickly and was just delicious. We tried a variety of traditional Himalayan foods and everything was fantastic. Will be coming back!!
Great spot! Food is 🤤
I finally tried Base Camp. I really wish I hadn't waited so long to go there. Everything was excellent. The service, the food(excellent work chef, thanks) and the amazing picture of mt Everest on the wall. I will definitely be back over and over and I highly recommend you go too.
We had a fairly large last minute party and they just killed it.
See ya later.
Base Camp is in the old Fresh Forage space. I ordered online for pickup and the online menu has a vegan section full of options. Service fast and very friendly. Food is tasty, like home-cooked meals. Prices are absolutely reasonable for large portions and tons of rice on the side. Very grateful to have this place close to me! (4* b/c it does serve animal products.)
Consistently excellent food and service! Always a pleasure.

Food was excellent, came out of the kitchen quickly and portions were great. Loved the chiya tea on a rainy night.

Really delicious food from an Indian-adjacent, but not quite typically Indian, restaurant. Both the standards and the more Himalayan-specific dishes were prepared well. Strongly recommended.

Very authentic, variety of excellent, delicious recipes. I don't like calling it food, it is way beyond that. Tried it for the first time with my wife and the taste, aroma and texture exceeded our expectations. Serving size is plentiful and servers were very pleasant. Great experience. Definitely we will be there quite often.
