We held a casual wedding welcome party at Blom a few weeks ago, and we had an amazing experience! The owner, Lauren, was so easy to work with. We rented out the private room and catered food. It's so hard to find a space in downtown Ann Arbor where you can have a casual party, and Blom is such a wonderful third space where people can gather. We had about 40 people come and go throughout the evening, and the staff kept an open bar tab throughout our party and even after when people were still mingling. We also had about 8 young kids join us, and they all had a great time playing board games. The staff were so helpful and kind! I highly recommend Blom for parties and gatherings!

I lived in Ann Arbor for 3 years and Blom was a monthly visit. I always come back when I’m in town and it never disappoints. Friendly staff, amazing drinks, and the best vibes. They host the best events, my favorites being yoga and trivia. The Perry Saison will always be a favorite.

Fabulous place, incredible selection of mead, ciders, and a couple of interesting non-alcoholic options to boot! Wonderful, friendly service, plenty of seating, and, although we didn't try any food, the menu had a good selection of bites and nibbles. Highly recommend!

It is a quaint, quiet little spot (usually). The drinks are in general quite good. There are some options in the menu I do not personally care for, but there are several that are excellent.
Trivia is very hard.
It is an amazing spot for those with celiac disease as most of the menu, including the food, is gluten-free.

Fantastic location with awesome drinks. Blom offers unique drinks you really can’t get many places. Combine the great drinks with the inviting atmosphere and general great vibes and you have a great place to grab a drink (or two or three) with friends, a date, or just yourself after a long day.

I stopped by Bløm just to try their meads, but it’s a really cool space. The interior is bright and warm, and the staff was friendly and informative. I tried a flight of their meads and ciders, and they were surprisingly good. Nothing was cloyingly sweet, and the flavors were well balanced. These meads were on the drier side and quite light, but still flavorful. I think the black currant mead was my personal favorite. I’d definitely recommend Bløm if you already like meads or are looking to try something new.
My wife and I were looking for a venue in town to host a small private party, and who knew? Bløm hosts private events! We had about 20 guests, and their Workshop space was a perfect fit. If available, Bløm is a super friendly, amenable, and accessible choice. Cheers!

I cannot say enough nice things about Bløm! We had my husband’s birthday party here on a game night and the people at Bløm were exceptional at every step. They were willing to reserve a table for our party of 10 even though game night is very popular. When we arrived they had great service, kept all our tabs, and were super kind about us staying all the way until (slightly past) closing. The drinks were superb and the game selection was large and thoughtful! Added bonus of Avatar episodes playing in the background made it exactly our group’s kind of atmosphere. This was the perfect place to meet up with friends and enjoy the board games and company. Thank you Bløm for such a wonderful, memorable event!

Bløm has a fantastic atmosphere and a welcoming staff. The space feels cozy and relaxed, perfect for hanging out, and they have a great selection of board games! Their meads and ciders are light, sessionable (is that a word, ha), and full of unique flavors. I particularly love that they have both sweet and dry (the dry are my fav) and that the menu indicates whether a drink is sweet, dry, or somewhere in between. It really helps you to know what drinks will suit your taste.

There’s a great selection of mead here, with options to suit every taste. I prefer sweeter meads, and the strawberry rhubarb never disappoints. The staff is friendly and happy to offer samples until you find the perfect one. The space is clean and minimally designed - simple but pleasant. Seating isn’t the coziest, but it’s fine for a short visit. They often host events, and I recently enjoyed the Witchy Woo event, which featured live music and a tasty pastry stand where I picked up some delicious vegan puppy chow. Their comedy nights are also a fantastic deal. Definitely worth checking out!
