Good cup of coffee ☕! The service is horrible. Came in during busy time of morning. The staff were in the back just talking. They saw me and just ignored. Finally a regular got their attention. The staff needs to be more focused.

Rip off. Went in this morning for 2 lattes and paid 18 bucks. I noticed they felt pretty light and when I get to my car and take the lid off I see this….Not even filled up. Can’t imagine what a cappuccino looks like seeing the amount of foam they put on a lattes. Complete rip off.

I previously would have rated this place higher, but a recent experience gave me pause. I recently stopped here on my way to work to get a to-go order. After waiting for my order for 30+ minutes I had to leave because it was still not complete. While the quality of items are good I would not recommend for timeliness.

Went here on a not busy Saturday morning and there are nobody taking orders but the baristas are running around doing something but taking the orders. The pick area is very confusing and people can just take whatever order they want. I waited 20 min for an avocado toast only to realize someone has already taken my order. Calling out names of customers would be nice

Good atmosphere with bar and patio. Service was terrible. Asked for water and they said they didn’t have any due to their self serve tap being unavailable. I then asked for tap because that was fine with me. They then proceeded to give me warm tap water. Food menu is unique but asked for extra turkey on one of the sandwiches and it was really really light on ingredients. Granted we did come on a holiday (Labor Day) but they were out of half the things needed for ALL of their products on the menu, no customer service or smiles, no “you’re welcome” when saying thank you. All in all it was kind of an uncomfortable experience.

I really enjoy the coffee here. The price isn’t a deterrent since I know the beans are sourced ethically and roasted locally. I have been coming to Black Diesel for years and within the last couple months, the service has gotten incredibly slow. Everyone is still very friendly and inviting, but 1 barista might not be enough.
