I really enjoy the coffee here. The price isn’t a deterrent since I know the beans are sourced ethically and roasted locally. I have been coming to Black Diesel for years and within the last couple months, the service has gotten incredibly slow. Everyone is still very friendly and inviting, but 1 barista might not be enough.

Coffe is quite expensive here, but my biggest issue is the service. Particularly in the morning, they only schedule 1 barista. If you're ordering food and others are in front of you, you're going to wait a while. I've seen barista's on their phone and sitting on the ground out of sight of the customer.

Never coming back! I just came in to order breakfast. When I got to the register the blueish,greenish hair girl with the nose piercing just looked at me. I said good morning and she said nothing just looked at me. Refusing to speak. I shouldn't have ordered but I did anyway,because I didn't have time to go anywhere else. As I'm walking away the women behind me walked up to the register and she was greeted. I'm African American and the women behind me was Caucasian. That right there said it all. I can't speak for everyone here,but the girl at the register is horrible and her actions were very much racist.
I ordered the honeycomb bread and a cate latte, and both were great. I'm looking forward to visiting again and trying their drip coffee as well!

Holy crap, 8.21 for a flavored latte that was really subpar, like a Starbucks latte, and could barely taste the flavor. Not worth the crazy price at all.

I’ve never had a worse experience trying to get a latte. It took them over 25 minutes to make a subpar latte. I would not recommend this place to anyone. The attitude and service from staff was also bad. They do not have almond milk either.

I have been purchasing beans from BDC for the past year. Their quality of single origin selections is unparalleled around the area (trust me I've tried others) and it keeps me coming back. More recently, I've started trying their in cafe options and I've been just as delighted. Though their beans are well priced, their coffee drinks are a bit on the pricey side. Also, I wish their store wasn't on a corner of a busy road. Despite the minor gripes, Black Diesel provides an outstanding selection of coffee beans for home and delicious coffee drinks.
