Never coming back! I just came in to order breakfast. When I got to the register the blueish,greenish hair girl with the nose piercing just looked at me. I said good morning and she said nothing just looked at me. Refusing to speak. I shouldn't have ordered but I did anyway,because I didn't have time to go anywhere else. As I'm walking away the women behind me walked up to the register and she was greeted. I'm African American and the women behind me was Caucasian. That right there said it all. I can't speak for everyone here,but the girl at the register is horrible and her actions were very much racist.

Holy crap, 8.21 for a flavored latte that was really subpar, like a Starbucks latte, and could barely taste the flavor. Not worth the crazy price at all.

I’ve never had a worse experience trying to get a latte. It took them over 25 minutes to make a subpar latte. I would not recommend this place to anyone. The attitude and service from staff was also bad. They do not have almond milk either.

I have been purchasing beans from BDC for the past year. Their quality of single origin selections is unparalleled around the area (trust me I've tried others) and it keeps me coming back. More recently, I've started trying their in cafe options and I've been just as delighted. Though their beans are well priced, their coffee drinks are a bit on the pricey side. Also, I wish their store wasn't on a corner of a busy road. Despite the minor gripes, Black Diesel provides an outstanding selection of coffee beans for home and delicious coffee drinks.
The coffee is okay but not worth the premium price. Also, the service was slow when it didn’t seem that busy.

An excellent Sunday morning coffee stop! I came into the shop and saw a bit of a line but this place is worth the wait - and the staff handled the crowd patiently.
Excellent cortados and the breakfast burrito, no need to pack a lunch if you grab one of these - they are massive!
Treat yourself to a break in the day for a tasty bite and a sip of some excellent bean water!

We made it a mission to try every coffee shop on Ann Arbor when we moved here and this is far the best. It can get swamped, so be patient - it is well worth the wait.
A cozy and comfy coffee shop with pastries & food as well. This is the place to enjoy a hot tea while reading a book, or seasonal lattes (with the best latte art) with a friend on the patio, or taking a cold brew to go. The pour overs are made with care and so flavorful. Favorite spot for a morning, afternoon, or evening coffee.

This is THE coffee spot!! My amazing barista Marisol made me some delicious coffees one of them being a made to perfection caramel latte!! this places atmosphere and overall look is just the best. 10/10 recommend, this is my morning coffee spot FOREVER!??
