I come here at least once a year, and it’s hands-down my favorite dining experience. Cooking your own steak on a sizzling volcanic rock never gets old—it’s interactive, fun, and the flavor is unbeatable. The prices are incredible for the amount of food you get, and their French onion soup is an absolute must-try. Honestly, everything I’ve ever ordered has been delicious. Be prepared to go home smelling a little smoky, but it’s more than worth it. Just know you’ll leave stuffed and probably rolling out the door!

I have been thinking the stone-cooked steak at Black Rock's Ann Arbor, MI location for 3 months. On my return trip for work, I had to give this a go and it DID NOT disappoint. Absolute perfection of the steak, potato, and even the salad.

Great restaurant, large but with nooks for conversation, comfortable booths. , very attentive staff , very nice operation, with seating up to 345 , excellent bar in set up and style , my only complaint was the bath room was rank evan with the air freshener firing every minute it could not mask the vial decomposing fish smell in the men's bathroom. Other than that the place gets 5 stars cus I cant give them 6

We had an extraordinary server. Made excellent recommendations and was very friendly. Made certain that our orders were perfect. The experience is well worth the price. The food was very good and proportioned well. I have already recommended this location to all my friends and coworkers.

Black Rock Bar & Grill was an incredibly unique place to dine at. We knew it was a steakhouse when we chose to eat here but didn't realize that you had cook your own steak at the table on a hot stone. It was a very cool experience and the food overall was great!

Took an hour for food to arrive at the table. Sweet potato fries were overcooked and spicy.

Have some very mixed feelings. It was kind of fun cooking my steak at my table. However, the eating was very awkward. There was no plate to eat off of after you cooked your food. There are two side trays to the cooking surface, but the raw meat came in one and butter and sauces are in the other. It'd be nice to have a plate to put the cooked food onto. Plus it was so crowded on the table that I didn't eat my sides until all of my meat was cooked and eaten. With that said, it was fun and I was able to cook my food to my taste.

Very slippery floors! We had 1 server for 10 people, so a little slow.

We were in town for work, the wait time for our food was 2 hours.
While the food was pretty good, there was certainly room for improvement. The bartender was very nice though.

Absolutely Delicious 😋 The steak we cooked on the black stone at our table was so delicious. Cooked it on the stone with garlic butter. The dipping sauce was so good.
