absolutely shitty service. had one server and then she dipped out. one of our drinks was never brought and our waitress was not helpful and tried charging us for the whole tables food when we weren’t with them. will not be back here for a long time.

I recently went to the Brown Jug with my fellow U of M alumni and I couldn’t be more regretful. The bouncer (black) immediately made racial remarks towards my fellow alumni and me (Asian Americans).. He went on to tell us we didn’t belong here and had no place in this town..
It sickens me to hear these words and I would like to contact ownership immediately. As a donor to the school this needs to be address asap.

Our waiter Zach was the worst service I’ve ever received in an establishment ever. Couldn’t care less about us.

Great dive bar with tons of options. The most fun is the mystery shot. Cheap drinks.

I have never been there. Talk to a lady on the phone. Very pleasant person but the main thing that I love is, they sell Buckeye tears and it’s driving the people that I live around in Ohio nuts.

Libby was super cool. Quick, efficient, charismatic. She was great and so was the service.

Edit: I come here on a semi-regular basis today the service was not great. Definitely think she needed to work on her timing and when was appropriate to come back and check, also waited forever for a shot clearly was forgotten about. I have no qualms just needs a little improvement.

I ordered the famous brown jug burger. It's just a premade patty. Nothing famous about it. Not even a good pre made patty but I choked it down. My wife ordered the hoogie and it was excellent! If l go back next time im in the area and get that. Service was very slow. The waitress could not handle more that 1 task at a time, asked for drink refills, was there for about 45 minutes after asking and never got refills. They also have a serious mold problem above the drop ceiling. With the A/C running there is a ton of water dripping from the registers in the ceiling, so there's water dripping on some of the tables and floors with no attempt to clean it up in the in the 1hr 15 mins we were there.
