Solid upscale-casual joint in an odd spot. Could totally miss it if you didn't know it's there. Been for lunch many times. Consistent quality all around and I've never had bad service
When we arrived to the restaurant, the hostess attempted to seat us in an undesirable area despite there being plenty of open seating. When we requested a different location, she basically just waved us to a table and didn't walk us there. The waiter brought the main course when we were only a fraction through the appetizers. Otherwise, the food was fresh and the waiter was friendly.
This is one of my favorite eating experiences in the Ann Arbor area. Relaxing on the patio while having a great meal is the best part of my day. Although their entrees are wonderful, my favorite meal is their calamari appetizer, which is enough to be an entree, with a small salad. I usually order takeout from their easy to navigate website -- and I've never been disappointed.
