My favorite downtown Ann Arbor Mexican restaurant. I enjoy the tacos plates in particular. Great atmosphere for the whole place, with a visually striking bar that includes a swing seat. Always have had great service, but the seating is a little tight on busy nights. Definitely a great place to enjoy a meal with friends and family.
Vegetarian options: Several vegetarian options on the menu. I have not tried them, but they do appear to have a good variety of vegetarian options of the tacos and flauta. The options make use of peppers, zucchini, squash, portabella mushrooms, etc…

We have been to this place quite a lot! We usually order shrimp tacos and steak fajitas. The food is really good and delicious, but the service is awful every time!!! For a group of 4 they included 20 percent tip on the receipt, and the waiter just threw the receipt into the chips basket.

The food was very tasty. I particularly liked the California burrito, carne asada, and chicken quesadillas. The margaritas were great, too. The queso we had was kind of runny, but tasted good still. Awesome environment with great music! Great place to take friends and family visiting Ann Arbor.
The food is excellent, the margaritas are beautiful and tasty. We’ve tried almost everything on the menu. The room can get quite loud, but it’s a relaxed fun environment.

Honestly was one of my top 5 Mexican restaurants, but the last two times have been disappointing. Second time in a row the restaurant smells like bleach and there were flies everywhere. This last time I felt the steak and chicken fajitas were lacking meat with too many vegetables. Also, the past two times the salsa/queso were extremely spicy, and I like spice if that tells you anything. Don't get me wrong the flavor is there and the food is delicious, I just think the meat to vegetable ratio could be better. I also just want to eat without the smell of bleach, flies buzzing around my food and not to burn my tongue with overly hot salsa/queso.

The food is mediocre and a bit overpriced for what you get (I got the chicken quesadilla). Also, a 20% gratuity is automatically applied which explains the poor service (no water refills, wrong items being brought).

First time at this restaurant. Would recommend this place for young adults, everyone was in college except me and spouse (we are in 60's). Very cool atmosphere, but was so loud indoors we could not have a conversation. Food was fine but everything was rushed. The table and menu were sticky. Waiter was very rushed. He partially spilled the margaritas on the table and then did not clean it up or apologize. We might try again with outdoor service on a quiet night (we went Friday night), but seems more a place for college kids.
