I go almost everyday and eat lunch here during work so I started using the point and reward app, I paid for my food forgot to add chips then tried to redeem it but the policy is pretty crappy so I used my points and still had to pay for the chips I’ll be finding another place to spend my money from here on out.
Between the customer service and the absolute disregard for cleanliness... idk whats worse. But I promise I will not be back.

Worst chipotle I’ve ever been to.
Slowest service and workers I’ve ever encountered. Wait took 30 mins and there was no line. However, I must say that the workers were quite attractive. Definitely a plus

Out of all three Chipotles in Ann Arbor, those one is by far the best. Yes, I've tried all three.
The place was disgustingly dirty, after waiting in line and getting to the front to order no one came up they just started replacing food tins not even saying it would be a moment and ignoring me. 5 minutes later when someone came up I got my order but had to wait another 5 minutes for my food. When I got home to eat it the cheese was GREASY. Disgusting and rude

I went to Chipotle around 4:30 PM on February 25th and experienced some of the worst customer service I’ve ever encountered. After this visit, I genuinely do not plan on returning.
I had two rewards in my Chipotle app — a free entrée and a free double protein — both of which were set to expire soon. There was nothing in the app clearly stating that these rewards couldn’t be stacked. Naturally, I assumed I could use both, so I placed my order.
When I got to the register, the cashier abruptly told me I couldn’t use both rewards. Fine — no problem. I calmly said I would just use the free entrée and save the double protein reward for another time. Instead of resolving it professionally, who I assume was the manager stepped in and said, “Well, we already made it with double protein.”
That is not my fault. I had a reward for double protein, and the issue was a lack of clear communication on their end. I politely explained that I was not going to pay for double protein when I had a reward for it. The manager responded with a condescending, rude attitude and told me I could “get back in line and have it remade since we’re going to have to throw this one away.”
The tone was unnecessarily hostile and dismissive. Rather than working toward a solution, I was made to feel like an inconvenience for simply trying to use rewards the company issued to me. There was zero effort to accommodate, clarify policies respectfully, or provide even basic courtesy.
It was unprofessional, wasteful, and completely avoidable. Customers should not be spoken to in a snotty or dismissive manner for trying to use rewards that are clearly shown in the app. I left feeling frustrated and disrespected.
I will not be returning to this location.
This isn’t an exaggeration; every single order I place via app is wrong in some way. Incorrectly made (missing toppings) or completely missing entrees from the order. I’m not being dramatic when I say the last 8-10 orders I’ve placed via app have had an error. Lucky for them the food is pretty tasty.

How am I supposed to know you’re only accepting mobile orders before I arrive at the restaurant? There always seems to be some sort of issue with this particular location.

Unfriendly service. Food overall good but not too many veggies when they have a veggie bowl in the menu. I had to ask for otherwise you would get rice beans and some fried peppers. Then ordered a bottle coke had to ask how to remove the cap the bottle opener was ny the cashier. She just handed me the bottle maybe assuming i ll use my teeth to open the cap 🙃. Anyhow there is litterally not much in the mall foodwise otherwise would not have gone to chipotle to negin with. They need to improve their service if they are going to last.

I love Chipotle and have been to several in the Ann Arbor area, but this is by far the worst one. Ordered the veggie burrito bowl and got less than a scoop of rice. I only get rice and black beans, so not at all worth $9. The rice was undercooked and crunchy. The girl that checked us out was extremely rude too. Way too small for the amount of customers it gets.

This is the most problematic chipotle on the planet. The only thing consistent is they're ALWAYS out of something. Out of chips, out of guacamole out of enough employees, can only take card. Orders never timely, even with a grace period given. Its impossible to grab Doordash orders. Its quite dirty in the dining room as well

As of 2025, worst Chipotle in A2. I've lost count of how many times they've run out of basic ingredients well before closing. The place is always short-staffed, portions are stingy, and there's constant staff turnover. They also constantly post abrupt paper notices on their doors about payment issues or only accepting online orders; I've wasted so much time driving there only to leave immediately afterwards.
My final straw was their bowl leaked everywhere, soaking through the bag, messing up my car interior, and spilling out onto the pavement.
After these consistently poor experiences, I'll be avoiding this location and honestly cutting down on Chipotle altogether. There are way better options in town -don't waste your time or money.

This place is falling off. They used to be clean and good but now 8/10 times you go they’re out of something important or the food lacks and is cold and dry. They make your bowls soaking wet that leak and break the bags by continuously dumping pico juices instead of just replacing the toppings when there’s only less than a scoop left in the metal containers. They don’t know how to roll burritos either so don’t plan on that. We came tonight and they were only accepting online orders at 7pm on a Saturday and the whole place was a mess with tables that have more food on them than the bowls usually do when you place an online order. We decided to leave because the food isn’t made right unless you’re standing in front of them correcting their lack of interest and care. This place is becoming just like the chipotle on washtenaw ave. With trash employees and trash food.
