The place is small, and you cannot use tablet or lab top at most tables. But the coffee is really good, better than most other places I’ve visited here. The staff is nice too. The only thing I dislike is there were one group of customers talking toooooo loud which was interrupting.

Ordered a latte w/o ice. They left a third of the cup empty and refused to fill it. I didn’t pay for air. Ridiculous.

They serve amazing coffee, in my opinion the best tasting espresso in town! Only bummer are the prices for the pastries, which are completely ridiculous. 8 dollars for a cherry croissant is a total rip off in my opinion.

Comet Coffee in Ann Arbor serves up great coffee with cool service and a laid-back vibe. It’s a perfect spot for a quick coffee break, though street parking can be a bit tricky. The only downside is the lack of a restroom, but if you’re in the area and don’t need one, it’s definitely worth a visit!

There is something so special about the amount of care and love that gets put into each cup of coffee. Each interaction I’ve had here as a customer has brightened my day. I find myself craving the sincere service and splendid coffee this cafe delivers to the people who are lucky enough to stop by.

One word SUPER RACISM.
Quaint little pour over coffee shop in the arcade. Have a seat, and have a coffee.

Update: Thank you for justifying a rude staff. It doesn’t matter how frequently you go somewhere, how long it’s been since you’ve been there. You should get good service.
I was a customer of Comet’s for years and years. But I’m not downtown as much. I stopped in the other day to get a shot of espresso and I was downright disappointed. The staff was rude and entitled. What happened to the friendly, kind, and bubbly atmosphere? Maybe it was the side of entitlement, but the coffee used to taste better.
Very pretentious. Aparantly ordering a "normal" coffee is not acceptable. I like good coffee but, I'm not a snob about it and tend to trust the batistas recommendations.
They couldn't be bothered and acted annoyed I even asked.
Coffee was just okay, not even close to Starbucks for twice the price. Place is tiny, probably 250 square feet, nowhere to really sit.
Shop is maybe 200 square feet with nowhere to sit.

SUPER Disappointed. Staff treat Asian customers differently in an extremely rude way. I don’t want to be harsh but this is RACISM. When I was ordering, staff was super impatient in explaining cannot do “light ice”,and with no smile or any greeting stuff. He is so rude and acting like I know nothing about coffee like an idiot. But when it comes to several white customers, he was like “how are you guys doing?”with bright smile. ????? Is that how you treat customers by their skin? I don’t deserve this service. Gross. Never gonna be there again. Learn some DEI please. Also, no matter it is cappuccino or latte, it is awful.
