Google shows that Core Life is open, so we made the trip out to get lunch only to see a sign on the door that they’re temporarily closed Sundays to give their team a break. That’s awesome that they’re considering their employees, nothing wrong with that, but maybe update your hours so people don’t waste their time.

I drive here from Southfield regularly. Always worth the hour drive.
This was my first time eating here. I ordered a steak bowl with sweet potatoes and brussel sprouts. The steak was so dry and tough I could not even chew it; it was horrible. The sides were lukewarm and not fresh at all. I also ordered a matcha smoothie with collagen and it was great however it had melted significantly even though I arrived before the estimated completion time for my meal. Overall, I was not impressed with the food at all and will probably not be returning in the future.

I ordered a green smoothie with organic spinach, mango, banana, oat milk, coconut water, agave; what I received was a milkshake with a little bit of spinach for color. There was no fruit in the smoothie. Additionally, they charged me extra for everything sweet: including craisins, fruit, and even the honey roasted walnuts. However, the regular walnuts were not an extra charge.
