5 stars! The cocktails, the wine, the food, and the service are all 5 star worthy. This is tapas style, many small plates. There are some sizeable servings offered as well - larger portion sharable plates. We truly enjoyed our servers Felicity and Sam. The knowledge of beverage and food were top notch. The duck was amazing. Great desserts as well.

Wife and I had the 7 course tasting menu with wine pairings. Every inspired dish was better than the previous one. Food was delicious, beautiful and creative. Service was prompt, very well informed, and attentive. We'll definitely be back.

Fantastic meal with an excellent, informed server. We had the chef's tasting menu and each course was well worth the price of admission. The maitaki mushrooms with red pepper hummus was our favorite. Strongly recommended!

Price - over priced. Price of a typical main comes out as a tapas style serving
Aesthetic- beautiful decor and vibe
Drinks - very good!! Cocktails are well made, bar tenders / mixologists are great.
Overall I want to like this place more but I would never come for a sit down dinner as it is overpriced for what you get. The hack is to come for happy hour / sit at bar and order off the bar menu! Smash burger is best I’ve ever had

Walked in exactly at our reservation time, and it took them 25 mins to sit us, with no space at the bar. We stood awkwardly by the entrance door. And then another 35 mins to bring out drinks. A whole hour delay in service killed the whole vibe, especially as we were out celebrating with friends. Will not go back.

Wonderful chef’s tasting menu with great selection of old and new world wines. The staff were very attentive. Dishes were elevated and creative. They easily accommodate different food restrictions to tasting menu where I could enjoy a meat menu and my wife could enjoy a vegetarian menu. Couldn't recommend more highly.

My wife and I have been fortunate enough to dine all over the world. We've enjoyed meals from every local favorite, every hole-in-the-wall, every street vendor, every farm-to-table, many fine dining favorites, and even a few Michelin restaurants.

Echelon is special. There is true mastery of culinary arts at work here. You can taste it in every bite.

We did the omnivore chef's tasting menu on two separate special occasions and both experiences were well worth the splurge. The staff is kind, attentive, and very well informed. Each dish comes with a story. We love how Echelon is supporting and showcasing local agriculture. Michigan makes amazing food. The wine pairings are exceptional. The ambiance is exceptional. The food is exceptional.

The food and vibe was excellent and represented American New cuisine. However, the service fell short of expectations. Our conversations were frequently interrupted by servers while they were attending the table, and utensils were cleared before we had finished eating. Additionally, we were mistakenly charged for dishes we did not order. The final tip amount on the bank statement also differed from the amount signed on the receipt, requiring multiple follow-up calls to resolve. Take a look at the itemized receipt and keep a record of it.
