we had a wonderful experience dining at Evergreen tonight for the first time. The ginger garlic chicken is probably the best thing on the menu as of April 2024. The flavors are pronounced, but not too overwhelming… Simply delectable! And if you have special dietary needs they can make anything on the menu with low- or no-sodium, and spice levels can be customized as well.

Ordered off Doordash for the first time on a whim and WOW. New go to for Chinese food. Amazing yummy food! Not to salty, wonderful flavors and the sweet and sour chicken is actual whole chicken breasts sliced up! Never saw that before. Highly recommend! Unfortunately I didn't take the time for pictures before shoving it in my face haha!

Love them, have been having the original as my go to as a child, before thry renovated it.Fod quality is always good and flavors are great, even traditional menu.Food is always good and they follow instruction, unfortunately, they forgot the I get following an American pallete they dumb down the spice, however we we asked for extra spicy wasn't spicy enough.

Great value. First, order the green tea for a pleasant surprise - and I am a coffee person! Costs a little bit more than fast-Chinese takeout, but VERY worth it. Fresh and healthy and some unique vegetarian options such as General Tso Cauliflower and I had the Garlic Eggplant. Takeout box was NOT Styrofoam.

Decent food. Terrible service. We were quoted 50 minutes to pick up our order. It took nearly 2 hrs. We arrived to pick up at an hour, waited 30 minutes, then left. After several calls, we were told our food was waiting for us, but we were not given any notification of this. The staff were unapologetic and defensive. Won't be ordering here again - not worth the hassle.

We went to Evergreen for the first time recently though I had been wanting to try it for a long time. It did not disappoint!I got the fried tofu with mixed vegetable and my partner got the ginger garlic eggplant. The tofu was great, and the veggies were flavorful and had a nice crunch. The eggplant was excellent! It was cooked well, and the sauce was delicious. Prices were modest, if on the cheap side. We’ve paid more for lower quality dishes elsewhere, so this was a perk.We enjoyed the ambience and vibe. It was clean and cozy and nicely decored inside. The wood tables are a nice touch. The waitstaff is friendly, helpful, and makes sure you’re taken care of.We are vegan, and while the menu isn’t labeled for that, our server informed us that all of the vegetarian dishes are also vegan by default - no fish sauce. So there’s plenty of options here for vegans! We appreciated that. We’ll definitely be back, and I definitely recommend Evergreen.

Very decent Chinese food at a reasonable price. I ordered the sesame chicken with white rice for $15 and the hot and sour soup for $3. The hot and sour soup wasn't my favorite - it was a bit lacking in flavour and I would have preferred a less brothy soup. However, the sesame chicken was really delicious and tender. The white rice was a little gummy but a generous portion. I ordered the chicken with extra sauce and it wasn't overly saucy, but whatever. My parents both tried the chicken and commented that they really liked it, so overall this place was a pretty big crowd pleaser. Not sure if they do any lunch specials at a discount but I'd be interested in looking into that. Might be my new go-to Chinese restaurant.

Our first time eating here. Waiter was very nice and courteous. The food was good. My fried rice was dry and tasted bland, a healthy dose of soy sauce helped a bit. The the pork bao, was disappointing. More dumpling than bbq pork, small diced pork, 3 or 4 chunks small amount of sauce. My dinner companion liked all of his food, portions were large and we took half with us.

The ambiance of the restaurant was great, the costumer service wasn’t so great. I came in with my little brother and we were coming from the hospital since it was Christmas Day nothing else was open and when I asked questions they acted as if I should’ve known the answer “how big is the container for your chicken” they replied with “it’s the serving size for one person (in a persnickety way). The container of chicken can feed 2-3 people easy. Then I got vegetable fried rice for my mother, sesame chicken for myself, sweet and sour chicken for my brother. By the end of the night we all were throwing it up. It had to be the rice because that’s the only thing we all had. I would not recommend eating here, unless you want to be sick.
