I am a Chinese and have been going to evergreen often as it is the only Chinese restaurant with some authentic Chinese dishes in that area. But I have been surprised, not in a good way, a number of times by their 'inspiration' of either authentic or Americanized dishes in the last year. Perhaps they indeed tried to give a new meaning of well known traditional Chinese dishes or perhaps they ruined my order and just said 'chef said this is the dish you ordered'...

Waiteresses are lacking common sense though. 2 people dined in and asked for straw for water. 1 straw was given.
Ordered a lamb soup. Ladle with holes were given.
Ordered spicy sish and there was no water refill.
I know, you may say "it is restaurant afterall and if the food was good, what is the matter?".
Well, I dined in expecting the fundamental service instead of witnessing servers sitting around giggling...

Nice place with good interior, food is tasty, but they took 20-25 minutes to bring the food, and I noticed a unknown charge of $7 in my bill outside of taxes and standard tip, which I saw at home. make sure the bill the correct before you pay.
