Delicious traditional breakfast food, very generous servings. Many vegan and vegetarian options, also bacon available on the side.

First Bite is a gem in downtown Ann Arbor. The food is not only delicious and made in house with high-quality ingredients, but the service is speculator. The staff are some of the nicest people you will ever come across in the restaurant space. I have celiac disease and am vegan and they take the time to customize dishes and safely prepare food for me each time. The menu itself offers a good variety of breakfast and lunch options that will please meat-eaters and plant-based eaters alike. They have both the best tomato basil soup and black bean burger I have ever had. There can be a wait at times, especially on the weekends, but the food is worth the wait. If you're looking for a true local taste of Ann Arbor, First Bite should be top of your list!Vegetarian options: A range of tasty and creative vegetarian and vegan options are available for both breakfast and lunch.Dietary restrictions: They offer a range of options to accommodate many dietary restrictions. Many of the dishes can be prepared without dairy or gluten. They also know about cross-contamination.

Good options for vegans and non vegans but the service was lackluster. Servers didn’t know who had been waited on, looked like there were some communication issues? The poor family sitting near us though they had gluten free pancakes, since that is advertised all over the restaurant, but after assuring the customer that the ‘whole wheat’ they used was somehow gluten free, the server realized the mistake. Scary for someone with celiac! The Thai peanut wrap I got was really good, but the chips and guac tasted store bought.

Loved the atmosphere. There's a wall of living plants that entertained our toddler. Their breakfast food was awesome, especially their chocolate chip pancakes and fluffy french toast with berries. We went right after the Shamrocks and Shananigans Run and it hit the spot. It was conveniently close, with awesome food, and good service.Vegetarian options: Many menu items can be made vegan. Allergens we're clearly labeled (we had egg, nut and dairy allergies in our party).

The quiche is really good. In fact, everything is really good. Currently the best breakfast in Ann Arbor.

The serving sizes were a little small, but the food was good, service was average, and the atmosphere was nice. They had lots of gluten free and vegetarian options, though it was a little pricy.Vegetarian options: Many things are vegetarian or can be made vegetarian.Dietary restrictions: Gluten-free options offered.

This place is adorable! The staff was very friendly. There were a lot of menu options. Enjoyed my matcha latte, Beanie Bowl was pretty good, little bit basic. I could have made it home easily, so not sure how I feel on the value. The portion was huge tho, considering I ordered a half size. So that was great. The tables are close together on one side of the restaurant, and they allowed people to pull chairs up to tables and block walkways. It made getting up when we were ready to leave a little difficult. I could see someone with a disability having some trouble in there.Vegetarian options: Plenty of veg optionsDietary restrictions: Options for gluten and dairy free dietsWheelchair accessibility: Not very wheelchair accessible

Popped in on a whim because they have gluten free ingredients. My wife enjoyed the gluten free pancake. I got the breakfast sandwich, both of which were way bigger than I expected. Service was a little spotty, one guy for the whole place, and there was a line out the door, but we still got in and out fairly quickly.

Pancakes were good, avocado toast was not great (not hot, avocado not fresh, dense bread), service was fine.
