We stopped just before the holiday (Thanksgiving) for a little pre-holiday relaxation during Happy Hour. We have dined at the restaurant, but not been there during Happy Hour. We were there as the HH period began at 3:30 PM it was not crowded, but that quickly changed. As the tables and chairs became occupied, the noise level increased, but it was more festive and conversational than annoying! We ordered some appetizers from the regular menu and some sandwiches from the HA menu. Both were outstanding as were our cocktails. We want to time it to visit again, as we are within a 25 mile drive.

Fantastic experience all the way around, starting with Josh, our Server - attentive, funny, and knowledgeable... Food was excellent, presentation was outstanding, servings were large, and very tasty! Can't wait to go back!

My entree of shrimp scampi was horrid, shrimp overdone inedible and sauce no flavor. Salad had grits in it, wife heard it crunching. Our server Zoey wad was great. Not the way I expected our anniversary dinner to go....

The food here is like something out of a fairytale! It looks and taste delicious! I had Brian as a server and he was amazing! Also Sam helped us out a big time as well with our valet parking! Very much recommend this place!

I was excited to come here for my birthday because I had heard really great things from friends and family. Service was ok, nothing special which was disappointing because I heard the service is usually top notch here. The mussel appetizer I got was good but the mussels tasted like they were previously frozen or overcooked? The texture was off but the sauce they were in was amazing. I got the smoking dragon and it was good but definitely a hefty $17 for 1 cocktail. The flounder was absolutely phenomenal but I would have liked to see a rice pilaf or wild rice instead of what was given, it had more of a Mexican style rice taste to it in my opinion. Lobster bisque was good but was not poured table side as stated on the menu. My partner got the chicken tortellini and it had good flavor but something was definitely off with the chicken-texture was VERY off. I had put in my reservation that the occasion was my birthday but that was definitely not mentioned by our waiter which was disappointing forsure. I’m not sure if I would come back, I felt like the excitement of my birthday dinner was taken away from this experience.

Location is cool and historic and they have managed to preserve its charm. We had several appetizers plates and the brie cheese plate tasted really good. I tried seasonal applesauce sea bass and it was really delicious however the rice coming with it was way too soft. Overall food was good although pricy. Our server was attentive but our table was set in a weird spot and it was obviously tilted. They have complimentary valet parking. Atmosphere is a little uptight of the verge of being uncomfortable rather than fancy
