got traditional/pork bahn mi... first it was amazing, so good, bread so fresh and crispy outside with soft pillowy bread inside, pork was so good... 5 stars.. the only reason i gave 4 stars was b/c it says pate on the menu like a bahn mi should have, i always feel like places do not put enough pate so i asked for extra pate, she said no problem but didnt charge me extra which i thought was strange... when the sandwiches came out i found out why.. its mayonaise.. tastes like homemade mayo and was great but it was not pate... they should not put it in the description if they are just using mayo... and then there i was with goops of mayo on my sandwich bc i asked for extra pate? just say you dont use pate... dont pile mayo on my bread...

Ginger deli used to be a go-to for me, until recently, I've began to hesitate. Their prices have increased while the quality has decreased. I don't enjoy paying an extra $2 for a banh mi that has less tofu and a not-so-fresh baguette than I used to get. Granted, the decrease in quality has taken place at their League location. Hoping they address these quality issues.

Ginger Deli is a must! The food is simple, fresh, and delicious. I have been coming here for almost 10 years, first as a student and now EVERY time I am back in Ann Arbor. It has never disappointed. Bahn Mi is amazing, and the Pho is the best hangover cure out there. The Pho broth is homemade daily and is the best. Just an awesome home grown spot. Flavors speak for themselves!!!

I was so excited to go here, since I've heard great things. I ordered a vegan/vegetarian bahn mi, assuming that it was vegan since that was in the title. I guess I was supposed to specify that I wanted it vegan. They need to put something up that distinguishes that.
Before I realized there was dairy in it, the sandwich was extremely good. It was, however, missing tofu. I really hope management sees this. ☹️ it's no fun realizing your food doesnt meet your dietary requirements when you've already started eating it.
The food is fantastic, but AC is desperately needed - this restaurant is legitimately too hot to eat at somedays

Got the vegetarian banh mi. The bread is super fresh, nice crispy crunch on the outside and pillowy soft on the inside. There was a copious amount of fresh vegetables. I went home with a full belly. But the best thing about Ginger Deli is the warm and hard working staff. The setting is casual and relaxed. Definitely recommend.
