Got the vegetarian banh mi. The bread is super fresh, nice crispy crunch on the outside and pillowy soft on the inside. There was a copious amount of fresh vegetables. I went home with a full belly. But the best thing about Ginger Deli is the warm and hard working staff. The setting is casual and relaxed. Definitely recommend.

I bought a few times the Bahn Mi from here, but lately they began cutting the amount of meat by adding fat. I assume they are doing this to save money, which is very unfortunate. I personally do not like big chunks of fat, and by doing this I will never buy from here anymore.

Found a review on Reddit saying this was the best bánh mì in Ann Arbor; it is!!! The bread was so incredibly fresh-a perfect sandwich in every way.
The vegan Banh mi and vegan Pho are both great! Be sure you tell them you want it vegan, otherwise they'll make it vegetarian

I work in the area and I go to ginger deli every time I decide to have a little splurge and buy food downtown. I’m eating a vegan banh mi as I’m writing this lol. I remember complaining to my boss the first time I got it because I thought they gave me the wrong sandwich, it was so good I couldn’t believe it was a vegan option!! The tofu is really good imitation pork, and it’s pretty affordable relative to most food around here.

They have a really cute little display of packaged food for sale. The space is cute too. Is the food “authentic”? No. But it was good enough to satisfy an urge for Viet food. Pho could have used a little more meat.
