Pie Day was a perfect day to try this place out. Everything was spot on, but the food that wasn’t a pie. The French dip was lacking in taste and meat, but the bread was good and easy to eat. The potato & bacon soup is worth going back again for. All the pies we tried were awesome. That’s to be expected from a pie place! So yes, it’s worth a stop! Pepsi products at self serve. That’s fine. I’m a coke or Pepsi person.Parking: It was a day for their style of perfection, so packed it was!Kid-friendliness: Prep tables high enough for kids to run under. Plus a harpist!!! Good vibes.

We were actually looking for a different restaurant when we found Grand Traverse Pie Company. The staff was polite helpful. We enjoyed lunch and a slice of pie. The pie crust is wonderfully flaky. The pie was so good we picked one up to take home. I didn't mention the selection of pies was fantastic, there were at least 20 different kinds to choose from.

The food is good. Sometimes the people who work there aren't that friendly. Prices went up and portion size went down, and now you have to pay extra if you want a side like chips.

Great service today from Jim. We had a minor mix up with our order. He asked to see our receipt. I didn’t ask for one. He fixed our order anyway. No questions asked. Will definitely be back again.
The pies are excellent here. I feel they are on the expensive side, but they're very tasty. Favorite being the Mountain Berry Crumb. They have a few gluten free options with the small pies, but unfortunately I can't eat any of the fruit they use in making those pies.I know they serve food here but, sit down and eat, food, but honestly I've only ever eaten their pie.

Traverse City Pie is very good pie. It's the reason to visit for a slice or an entire pie. Do visit.

The restaurant closes at 7pm, yet at 6:35 they told me no food only pastries & pies are available b/c they shut down. Another customer walks in & complains too, no manager is available. Finally she says I can take your order, but it's a long wait since it was shutdown. Also why are the pies sitting in the open air with bugs flying everywhere. ?
