I've never had anything less than a wonderful experience at Gratzi, but my expectations were exceeded when I took my fiancée to dinner the day that I proposed to her. That evening at Gratzi is arguably the most memorable part of my proposal

My friend swore up and down that this was one of the best Italian Restaurants in Ann Arbor. I wouldn't know if this were true or not, since this is the only Italian restaurant I've been to in the state of Michigan. We arrived with a reservation and party of 4 for lunch on a Friday. The reservation wasn't necessary, as we were the only party there. Overall, great service and food! Restaurant is quite large, with numerous seating options. This place would work well for both a casual fancy dining experience. The complimentary bread was fresh and delicious. We even went through 2 baskets of the bread. So bad, but so good at the same time. We started with 2 orders of Shrimp Scampi and Di Pere to share. The Shrimp Scampi was full of savory flavors. I had the Caprino/Ravioli as my main. Not a large serving, but the rich flavor makes ordering this dish well worth it.Street meter parking available and in the large parking lot behind the restaurant. Make sure you pay at the pay station.

Great food and great service. We are outside on Main street and the staff and patrons were very careful and respectful of our space. loved it.

Service is good. Food was average, not seasoned well. The burata was spot on but low marks for the entrees. Tiramisu lacked espresso had too much marscapone.

We had a very good time enjoying our visit to Ann Arbor and forums Gratzi Restauran which offered a nice environment, very good presentation and great flavors on dishes. The service very good.

To be honest , everything I have ever had here has been stellar. My most recent visit included some new options, and we were thrilled. The lobster gnocchi and scallops were incredible, as well as the potato truffle dish . Do not sleep on the cannolis or the chocolate mousse and smoked cocktails!

Great food and atmosphere. We’ve gone on our anniversary almost every year for the last 26 years.

My wife and I have gone to Gratzi a number of times. The food has always been very good with a very nice presentation. However it is a very expensive restaurant for the amount and quality of food to get. The wait staff has always been very knowledgeable and they are sometimes friendly.

Absolutely terrible!!! Terrible appetizer, super dry hard edge fried ravioli. Over-cooked burnt chicken buried in arugula so one wouldn’t noticed how burnt it was. However, the garlic mashed potatoes were decent. And over-cooked beef but the noodles we edible. Worst Italian restaurant I have eaten at in years. $100 for a meal far worse than the Olive Garden. The service wasn’t much better either in case you were wondering... A 4.2 rating, no, no, no, and NO! Not with the beginner “chef” that made our food on Tuesday.

Consistently delivers a classy atmosphere and great food. It will surely impress your date or a wonderful place to take your significant other.

It's a tourist trap. if you are bringing your kids to AA for the first time, and need a place to go this is it. IF you are an established local or family, there are truly better options. Don't get stuck in the trap

Birthday dinner! Ordered a bottle of wine. Wine glasses were dirty and so was the decanter. Waitress said it’s hard to get the sanitizer off them. Manager did nothing. Meals were mediocre. Disappointing.

From a fellow Italian I’m not a big fan of going out to Italian Restaurants for dinner. My mom cooked the best Italian food and I’m not bad either. But upon several recommendations I decided to try this establishment. As soon as I walked in the aromas captured my head and soul. The fact that it was the first movie theaters in Ann Arbor and then converted it to fine dining I felt at home. There’s a beautiful Italian mural on the wall where many people watched many movies. Now for dinner I was great by Charlotte with a big smile behind her mask. She made some recommendations which I asked her to. I chose her favorite eggplant Parmesan with Spaghetti. I added a wonderful pear Gorgonzola walnut salad and a glass of red Italian wine. After ordering my meal Charlotte brought me the best homemade bread with olive oil, Parmesan cheese and black pepper. Wow wow wow is all I can say about the bread and dipping oil. So fresh and tasty. Shortly after my eggplant Parmesan and spaghetti came out. I asked for al dente pasta and it was cooked perfectly and the gravy was so flavorful and had lots of fresh diced tomatoes in it. The eggplant was cooked perfectly with lots of fresh mozzarella and gravy with it. The portion size was large and I ate the whole plate. Only regret was that I didn’t save room for dessert. Ask for Charlotte she’ll take really good care of you. Hope I’m traveling to Ann Arbor so I can visit this fine restaurant again.
