Delicious shrimp fried rice! I have dined with Happy Wok 7 years. They make excellent chinese food compared to a couple other places I have tried. The new owners have cleaned and decorated in appealing way and deliver the great tasting food with friendly service.

I was really happy with my carry out order from Happy Wok tonight. My daughter wanted Chinese food, she loves Chinese food, but we've grown weary of evergreen. We ordered the orange chicken and the General Tso's Chicken wings...both were really good. Orange chicken was plump white chicken meat cooked nicely. The wings were huge, really breaded, fried, and sauced to perfection....very grubable. I'll be back
Best egg rolls around. Service is always fast, comparable prices. It was extremely cold inside, so dining in wasn’t an option. Take out was perfect.

Great and cheap option for Chinese food. Most places in the area have General Tso’s chicken that has stringy chicken or has too much batter. Happy Wok gets it just right with quality chicken and light breading. Quality lunch option.

I work in the area, right down the road, so I frequent this place often. I get to see it when they first open, the lunch rush, dinner, and close. I have ordered during all these different times, and can say their food is CONSTANTLY and CONSISTENTLY outstanding. Always very saucy, great spices, huge portions and always served with a genuine smile. If you order take out from somewhere and you don’t pick up your food in a timely matter, then dry, chewy food is exactly what you’re going to get. Take some accountability. If hot take out sits for 30+ minutes, you can’t expect it to be good after your 10-15 minute commute.

My go-to chinese food spot! I always get the crab rangoons. They come with a small sweet and sour sauce cup thats perfect for the 6 crab rangoons you get. I liked the store before the remodel, and it looks even better now with new lighting and seats. Good on them! :DPsa: Don't forget to grab your utensils and / or fortune cookie on the way out. They don't put them in your bag. They are on a table close to the door
Decided not to order from China Tonight in Chelsea Michigan even though I work at Chelsea Milling Company aka Jiffy Baking Mixes. I stay in Ann Arbor while in Michigan. First time Happy Wok customer from Maine living in Ann Arbor for business for a few months and I absolutely love Chinese food, chinese people, their culture and their amazing food and cooking skills. I ordered Chicken Egg Roll = B, Fried Pork Pot Stickers = C, General Tso Chicken Wings = A++ but the $17.95 Seafood Fries Rice = F. Worst Fried rice I’ve ever had. The base fried rice itself was poor and had no taste then they throw in very smelly tiny scallops, the worst smelling half lobster tail ever like smelly seafood, about (6) 26-30 ct shrimp and then a ton of Surimi aka fake or imitation crab meat and the quality was disgusting like soft tissue and smelled and tasted like nothing. My picture shows about a pound of surimi, imitation crab meat but the overall quality was gross and smelled terrible. We literally gagged when we tried eating the seafood fried rice and I had to take out all of the surimi imitation crab because it was making me so sick. So disappointed as I love seafood but this rice was disgusting. I feel terrible even saying it because I don’t want the restaurant seems legit and the man at front counter is super nice and probably family of owners or is the owner but they show the seafood fried rice and seafood lo mein in the Google gallery but believe me it smells and tastes terrible. Just my opinion but I’ve eaten Chinese food all over the country and this dish just doesn’t cut it. Sorry Happy Wok but the Seafood Fried Rice just doesn’t cut it.
