Great atmosphere, beers and food!
Fantastic spot with lots to do and perhaps the best part- a beautiful black box theater to enjoy improv comedy, stand-up and more!
My dream came true when I went to Ann Arbor for my annual visit with the fam and there was actual great improv comedy happening at a fabulous brewery! My whole family came for the musical improv jam (and those that tired of it were able to go grab drinks at the bar and hang and chat in the spacious lounge/bar area).
They have classes, jams (for anyone wanting to try or watch improv games), stand-up comedy, and improv comedy like “Who’s Line is it Anyway” - so fun!
I was able to go back and catch a show on a Friday night ($15 pre-sale— cmon that’s a great price to try something new!) and watched hilarity ensue!
Looking forward to coming back the next time I’m in town.
If you’re in Ann Arbor - DEFINITELY recommend! Support local comedy!!
Improv on Friday night was an absolute hoot. Lots of fun and well worth the money, which is not much.
Pleasantly floral hopped IPA, delicious smash burgers, shoestring fries, great music and perfect acoustics in the lovely biergarten. Kid and family friendly.
What's not to love? Modern converted space felt clean and welcoming, staff was above and beyond to follow suit. Came for a fun Thursday night open mic and can't wait to go back. Beers were cold and delightful along with some good bites. Honestly appreciated their simplified beer menu, some breweries are getting out of control with a mile long tap list. Highly recommend this place, and don't forget to check out their calendar for other cool shows.
Best SMASH burger that I have ever had and washed down with a refreshing beer. IMPROV was fun too!
They had a good sour beer on draft, hope to see more in the future. The pizza roll and pretzels bites were also very good. Friendly staff. Will checkout the theater next time.
Very comfortable environment with excellent selections. I highly recommend getting a flight. It gives you very generous samples of 4 craft beers. Currently enjoying their outside music while sipping on their Lookout craft sour. Never knew I liked sours until this.
I also tried their bourbon, because I always have to try new ones. It's very in the middle, smooth, warm and bold all at once.
They have a very small parking lot, so I'd recommend car pooling or walking unless you are early. It's so close to everything on the west side, so walking isn't an issue. It feels like a good adventure with an open atmosphere.
Definitely worth stopping by if you like one of a kind craft beers with simple tasty food
They have been changing their food back and forth and now their fries are stale every time, taste like they're a day old. The price sure stayed the same though...
My husband and I were here on Friday to complete our “H” date for our Alphabet Date Challenge.
I would recommend looking at their website before hand to see a super handy map of all their overflow parking.
We scored parking right there but there is plenty available- the map will be useful to you.
We were so impressed with the atmosphere!
As soon as you walk in there’s an outdoor space, roomy inside and a Biergarten in the back!
We bought tickets to the Improve show by the Eleven Non-Blondes but showed up early so we didn’t have to eat in the theater (but could have just fine!)
There was music in the main room, we both got smash burgers with fries and they were so good. A good crunch in the patties.
There was a kids menu and we saw several kiddos there- we definitely want to come back with the kids. Plenty of space for them and even some games that could have occupied their time.
Beers were very good, lots of staff running around cleaning, pulling trash, asking if we need anything.
The improv show was super fun. There are a few small tables in there you can put drinks or food on.
Half the chairs were higher so if you don’t like high top type chairs, maybe make sure you get seated earlier but we had no problem.
Will be back. The vibe was nice.

My family loved their beer flights. I'm not a beer drinker, but I got an old-fashioned and it was perfect. It was quite a charming brewery.
Tasty beer. Knowledgeable staff. Great new brewery in Ann Arbor !
Great beer and great atmosphere. Will be coming back very soon!
Fantastic brewery! Tasty beers, ample parking, and nice beer garden with shade. REALLY good for families with small children. Highly recommend.
In town from Wisconsin where we love our beer - stopped here on recommendation from a WI friend! Was NOT disappointed - quite the opposite! Light beer was great and you MUST get the smash burger! It is AMAZING!! Best burger I have ever had! Also, great staff!!! Can’t wait until I get to come back to Ann Arbor!!!! Will visit again!!!
