This place continues to deliver the same high bar of quality food after decades and changing hands.
I always get the Italian, although the steak hoagies are also quite nice.
For the 3 months after lent they do fish and chips and I was floored by the quality; unfortunately I have to wait 9 months for that again (pleeease make this a regular menu item!!)
Kinda a weird thing to add but their fountain pop offerings are on point as well.
Do yourself a favor and grab an Italian hoagie- the oregano and olive oil drizzled on top is truly unique.

Outstanding Hogies!!!

Average cheesesteak. Cheese melted perfectly and the size of the sandwich is the perfect amount. However, I wasn't blow away by the quality of the ingredients. Also charging 25 cents for lettuce is pretty insane. The fries weren't fully cooked and not the best quality either. Service was phenomenal everyone was extremely welcoming. Just an average sub that is more expensive than it should be.

The service was good but they got my order wrong. I asked for a chicken bacon wrap with no tomato on it. The wrap still had the tomatoes, one strip of bacon and the lettuce was brown. The chilli cheese fries was bad too, huge tomatoes swimming in juice. The fries was not finished and it hardly had any cheese. It was more soup fries.

Just right. This sandwich turned my mundane
Monday around. Delicious soft bread with tender steak, sautéed mushrooms and cheese. Added a drizzle of peppers and a side of hot fries and an ice cold Coke. Just right.

Stick to their hot sandwiches - I love the steak and cheese hoagies, but I tried a cold Italian sub and only ate half of it. It always feels like the staff is barely tolerating customers (at least when you are a newcomer, they are pretty friendly to their regulars).
Last time had a "corned beef on rye" - which most people just call a Reuben. Fast if not overly friendly!! It was $17 for just the sandwich. Dimo's is the same price for 4x the food, but this sandwich was very very good.
Parking: Can get congested, but there is usually lots of open parking at either end

Great steak subs and onion rings! The specials were so tempting, but had to try the steak sub for my first visit. I plan to return for sure!

Simply the best steak and cheese hoagies in the Midwest! Eat there every time I'm in Ann Arbor!!!
There can be a bit if a wait are lunch time but it’s worth it. Had a cheesesteak and the best I’ve ever had. Better than lefty’s and jersey mikes.
